This is a nice little scanner I bought for my Honda Element in Hawaii. It very consistently ran scans and found correct codes until I fixed the problems. I was impressed enough with the quality that I later bought the AD410 PRO model for my cars in Washington state, which is a combination tool that includes a battery tester. Both models are good quality and decently priced. I bought the PRO model after being disappointed with the Topdon BT100 battery tester, which gave inconsistent results and had poor connections to the car.

Very easy to use right out of the box. I only had the opportunity to the machine to diagnose a check engine light but it worked very well.

What a neat little gadget. My check engine light was on my Kia so I bought this to see what the problem could be. I thought it was the oxygen sensor but it showed it was fine and then I noticed it said it was low on coolant. So I ran and bought coolant , filled up the reservoir, took off the battery cables and let it sit for 30 minutes then attached the battery cables and the check engine light went immediately off. This saved me a lot of money instead of taking it to an expensive mechanic that I can't afford. I still have to figure out a lot about this OBD scanner, but it gave me the answer of why the engine light was on. The sad thing is I just had my car in for an oil change and didn't they see this? I'm not seeing any leaks either. Got to do it yourself nowadays, or everyone will screw you over. This comes with the carrying case, charging cord and a manual. If a 72-year-old woman can figure this out so can you.

Bought this for my husband and he loves it. He said it was well worth the money and works very well. It is easy to use and gives good information on codes for mechanical problems. This is a good investment if you repair your own vehicles. Great buy!

This OBD2 code reader worked well for what I needed to do with it. The directions are not great, but I played around with it for 5 minutes and figured it out. Satisfied with purchase.

UPDATE! The seller contacted me and offered a refund for the scanner. I asked for a shipping label so I could return it and they said it was not necessary then they immediately issued the refund. These people are AMAZING! I would definitely buy from them again. AMAZON, on the other hand, is not so honorable. . . They denied the refund. Now they didn't bother to tell me that it was denied. I contacted them several times and they kept telling me it was on the way. Then the last guy finally said the refund had been cancelled because the item was not returned. I feel like that should be the sellers decision to make. I just hope that the seller got their money back since it didn't come to me. (Original) I bought this scanner because I had lost the cheaper one that I already had. I did a lot of research before buying and this was supposed to be the best in the mid-price range. It had all the features that I need and I was very excited to try it out. We tried it on a few different cars when we got it and it never pulled up any codes. I didn't have anything to compare it with so I didn't know if the cars were fine or if the scanner was bad. We hung on to it. . . I recently found the other scanner that I had lost. The engine light came on in a truck we just bought so we tested both scanners. My old $17 scanner brought up the codes and this one did not. It doesn't work. It's possible that I just got a defective one but my return window closed a few days ago and I'm certainly not buying another one so I guess I'll never know.

I have only used this scanner one time so far but it was easy to use and figure out and it resolved the issue of my engine light. It gives me peace of mind without having to book a mechanic visit for a very minor code that can be easily rectified.

Works well. I did have a bluetooth OBD2 scanner, but for error codes, the Ancel AD410 with the screen and cable is much easier to use. Cheap enough to have in each car too.
