This stuff really works if you use it long enough. I have tried plain coconut oil and it's harder to do and I feel like gagging. The combination here is ideal for comfort and the ability to do it longer. I've worked up to 15-20 minutes, nearly daily, and it had made a big difference in my oral health. I have some recession, which leads to tooth tenderness the gums receding will not be cured by this but the sensitivity has. I believe it genuinely reduces bacteria and as a result I get less build up on my teeth. My hygienist noticed. As an add on to gentle thorough brushing and flossing this is an invaluable tool. I'd like to see a formulation with a little more oil in it, as now that I've gotten used to the swishing again and feel its benefit, I do believe a richer formula would hold up better to 15-20 minute uses. If you have a habit of jaw clenching, or have an uneven bite, I find this exercise of gently swishes is a good jaw exercise. It loosens things up and reminds you to maintain a different posture in your mouth during the day, which leads to a relaxed jaw at night, too.

when my hygenist suggested I try pulling to improve bleeding in my gums when prodded it sounded terrible. Take a teaspoon of coconut oil and swish it around, for like 'em 30 minutes??? This sounded nothing short of terrible. A) it sounded really nasty to put in one's mouth B) how was i going to breathe as a mouth breather.....But all that thinking is erased upon using this product. It is absolutely no problem to swish it around in one's mouth for 30 minutes with no unpleasant tastes during or after. I just ordered my second bottle. I haven't been back for my dental check up but will add to this review when i do. I do feel my gums are less red and i felt it was whitening at first but after 2 months i am not as sure. I am a coffee drinker so that may not help either. Mouth does feel good though right after using which follow with electric toothbrush, flossing and a water pik. Follow up - 3 bottles later......two dental checks - gums are much improved using this product, no more gushing bleeding when highly poked, a little less pointy look of the gums, healthier color; hygienist did suggest i try to do more pulling of this product on my back upper teeth. The suggestion on my hygienist part to try doing the coconut pulling was a good one and with this product it's no problem to do!

This product is highly effective—simply shake, pour into the cap, swish in your mouth as long as possible, and spit once a day. It helps dry mouth and complements flossing, similarly to a mouthwash. I read this type of product and decided to try it, and I must say, is fantastic. While I already floss and use mouthwash, this has been beneficial especially as I am beginning perimenopause—every little effort makes difference.

This product does exactly what it's meant to do. You switch with it and the oils pull all the bacteria from your mouth, then you spit it out in the garbage, not the sink so that you do not clog your pipes. Just basic common sense. You cannot swallow this product because you will ingest all of the bacteria which is extremely unhealthy for your digestive tract and YES you will probably end up in the ER. That is also common sense. I don't understand the review that said this knowledge is a "Red Flag" but why would you swallow a mouthful of potentially harmful bacteria in the first place? This product works very well and the taste is not as bad as some people say. You are swishing a mouthful of oil and essential oils so you have to expect a certain flavor. In the end, you are eliminating bacteria and making your mouth healthier which is the sole purpose of oil pulling.

I just heard about coconut oil pulling. Decided to try this product. I like the taste fine and my teeth feel clean afterwards. Helps the breath. However I think it's too expensive for a small bottle! Main issue is the oil settles on the bottom & It's really hard to get it to mix. So you shake it for a while, but by the time you unscrew the cap, it has settled again. I would buy again if they put it in a bigger bottle with a squirt top (for the same price).

I have been using this almost everyday for a month now and my teeth look amazing. They are soooi much whiter and when I wake up my mouth just feels cleaner. I started at 5 minutes and worked my way up to 20 adding 5 minutes on every five or so days. I also use the tea tree mouth wash before using this and their tea tree whitening tooth paste. Amazing brand! Worth every penny!

Flavor is not over powering. Leaves breath smelling of light mint. I have found it aids my brushing regimen to keep plaque at bay. Getting better reports on dental visits. Teeth seem whiter and do feel cleaner. Took a little bit to get used to keeping the pulling oil in mouth for over a minute and swishing. But built up slowly. It's a wast of money ,very costly for the benefeit it gives you....I tried Guru brand before and it's 10 times better than this one.It has a very weird tast and when you put it in you mouth it's literrally water with a weird test.So BIG NO and won't buy it again and woudn't recommend.

This product is excellent it helps with, stains, infections and removing impurities in your mouth and on your teeth. Reduces plaque, gum bleeding and diseases are managed without worsening etc. Tried and tested and for the first time Dentist could see a positive difference in my teeth and gums. You need to maintain brushing your teeth, flossing and using this after, holding in mouth and working it around from time to time for 20 mins for the best results, but you have to do it Daily. At night before bed gives the best results.

Must have for dental hygiene. I even use this for my dog. Gets rid of his bad breath.

Tastes good and is far cheaper than a similar product! Would recommend!
