A great choice for a good looking and durable case to protect the new 7" Fire tablet
Over the years, I've tried a variety of cases for the various models of Kindle and Fire tablet that I've purchased from Amazon. While I've found a few third party covers that have been durable and attractive, I found myself coming back to Amazon's own product when I purchased one of their new 7" Fire tablets, and I'm pleased with it. This is a very good quality cover, it fits well, and it provides support to the tablet both in landscape and portrait orientation. It's made of fabric on the outside, with a microfiber inner lining to protect the screen of the tablet when the cover is closed. It matches the color of the Fire tablet perfectly. My only hesitation in purchasing it was the price - the case all by itself is fully half the price of the Fire tablet! But I suppose that says more about how cheap the tablet is, than how expensive the case is (kind of). Still, I decided to spend the money for this case. The tablet needs the protection and I know from experience that Amazon's cases are durable and will last for a long time (I've used my original Kindle Paperwhite - first generation model - with case since it was first purchased). I'll post some photos of the cover to show how it is packaged and how it looks on the tablet. I'm very satisfied with it.

Stan the Man Reviews: Seven Kinch Kindle which was Inexpensive AND yellow.
This is dynamite for what Amazon charged me for it as a Prime member which was slightly more than thirty bucks. I bought another thirty buck, nearly identical Kindle sometime in the past. The main difference seems to be that the black on the screen is blacker than the first one I bought. This thing if either very fast of they have upgraded the programs for Kindle to make them faster. The case is also extremely nice and I will overlook the fact that it cost me very nearly the same as the Kindle itself. Even at the normal selling price of around fifty bucks, this tablet is an excellet deal. Kindles have been a real boon to me since, with my vision, the only way I can comfortably read is with white text on a black background. You may also make the book fonts extremely large but I do not need this feature since I see sharp enough. My eyes just glare out reading black text on a white background. There is also black text on sepia too though the Lord only knows why unless you're into hundred year old acid paper books. Just kidding,. Sepia is very attractive and less of a glare problem so some people might prefer it. You can also adjust the total brightness of the screen of course. Would I buy this again. Not me or, at least, not until one of the seven Kindles and my wife's Kindle give up the ghost. I would not want to seem to be into Kindles or something. Right? This does play videos nicely though the speakers are not to great for my ears at my age. But it does have Bluetooth and Bluetooth speakers are very inexpensive on Amazon if you can wade through the shere number of them for sale. I bought a little thing called a Jam Jar in the past and my wife now uses it and it greatly improves the sound for movies and audio books and text to speech. This also has a voice thingy if you go in for that kind of stuff. You can ask "Alexa" to, for example, give you the latest news and then get four newscasts in a row all trying to destroy Trump and bring down the government. Deplorable. That was a lame joke. My stepson keeps running Kindles into the ground probably because they don't cost close to a thousand bucks. As far as I can tell, at least for my prupooses, this thirty buck job does just about everything as well and as fast as his iPod or whatever he paid for to the tune of eight hundred plus bucks with his marine disability check which is seven fifty a month. Don't ask. Yes. Buy a Kindle Fire and you probably won't regret it untless you are a committed technonerd and are firmly convinced your manhood might suffer. Get Amazon Prime too for lots of movies, free shipping, and other goodies. If you shop Amazon you are a bit non cool if you don't have prime. I like the case too which is quite sturdy and quite as yellow as the Kindle I bought. They do come in a choice of colors and, when my daughter sees the purple one she will undoubtedly have to have it to show the other nurses. They are into purple for some reason. Normal males like myself go for tweety bird yellow which is so manly Hemingway would have had to have had one to find running bulls on line in Pampapalona or wherever bulls are allowed to run down public streets exhibiting much more than microaggression and a hapless populace and guys who think getting gored or stomped is way cool. Or you can buy black and just be safe like in college except no crayons come with any color.. Happy Kindling. Love.

Great case for a great Tablet!
This is a great case! It allows access to all ports and camera, while not taking from the protection of the tablet itself. It feels very durable, and I think it would protect the Fire well against accidental drops, bumps and scratches. As a blind individual, touch is very important to me. This product feels well made. It feels expensive, and I'm certain looks the same. The standing feature is great, it stands well for movie viewing or apps that do better in landscape. This is a great accessory for the new Fire 7. I'm sure there will be other companies making cases for it. But this is how the folks at Amazon envisioned their device, and it is amazing! Don't be fooled in to buying a cheaper product. Amazon devices do best with amazon accessories.

Perfect companion for your tablet
It's easily the nicest case I've handled for these devices, fits perfectly, looks to be high quality. The "kick-stand" feature works in both landscape and portrait mode. The magnetic catch on the cover flap is a really nice touch, and is sufficient enough to keep the tablet secure when carrying in a large pocket on a pair of cargo pants. It certainly is deserving of a five star rating based on fit and function. This is a really nice case. I'm only deducting a star because I think it is a little pricey. You get what you pay for, for sure, but I'd much rather have spent a few dollars less on this case. Also worth noting: I've read reviews that criticize the fraying of the fabric portion of the case, and while I don't see any problem areas on the edges just yet, I do notice a potential problem area around the opening for the rear camera. I've got three of these cases now, and on each one I've taken a lighter (gently) to the frayed area on the top left of the camera opening to singe down the loose fuzz that was exposed so that it doesn't wear and develop into an unraveling in that area. Like I said, "gentle" - like you're singing those loose thread ends on a new pair of sneakers. Again, that is to be expected, and did not factor into the 4 star review. The price is my only gripe on these otherwise fantastic cases that I'm really liking. They compliment the color of the tablets nicely, too.

The best case for your Kindle Fire
Every time I cheap out, and buy an aftermarket case. I am not happy with it for one reason or another. In this instance, the case was nicely made but it was bulky, and it weighed as much as my Fire does. I keep my Fire on my bed table, and read in bed for an hour every night. I like for it to be light and comfortable. The reason I upgraded from 7" gen.5 to a 7" gen.7 was for the smaller, lighter size with the same screen area (and more memory). Amazon is the only manufacturer of the perfect case for my needs. It fits like a glove, does not add much in the way of bulk or weight, and looks good doing it. I was lucky to get this one as a warehouse deal, so it saved me money, and it looks like I bought it new!

Just ok...
The positives? The fabric case is pretty and comes in a variety of colors to match your Fire tablet. The tablet fits securely with a snap and won't fall out. The case has a magnetic close and doesn't pop open if it falls. The negatives? The stand feature. It may be user error but isn't that the point? I can't make it secure when using the stand. It always falls over. I'm also worried the fabric cover will show dirt and be difficult to clean Amazon Fire 7 Tablet Case (7th Generation, 2017 Release), Marine Blue . It doesn't have much padding on the cover that covers the screen and if it would fall from a distance it may not be enough to keep the screen from breaking. All in all, it is ok as a case but I think the price would demand more ease of use and protection.

Sleek Design, Clever Stand
I've been using this regularly for roughly a month now. So far, everything is holding up well. I plan to give an update on durability after a year or so. For now, I can say the materials used for the cover appear durable, and the internal plastic shell holds the device securely. As one caveat, the buttons and ports on top are somewhat exposed to being bumped etc... The ease of access may be a pro for many, but I personally feel that area could use more protection. As for features, I'm a big fan of the integrated stand. While it may not be as planted as a dedicated stand, it's wonderful to have it integrated into the cover, keeping bulk down. Additionally, the inclusion of a magnet to wake/lock the tablet when opened and closed is quite nice. In terms of ergonomics, I very much enjoy the hard fabric exterior material chosen. It feels far from cheap, and the same goes for the suede inner surface of the cover. (This is the back exterior when the cover is open) I gave four stars for "Easy to hold" as I personally feel the device would benefit from some sort of elastic band for your hand/fingers to securely hold it. Besides that, no issues. In conclusion, I would recommend this case without question, especially at this price point.
