Lifefactory 16oz Active Flip Cap, Cool Grey Glass Water Bottle

I have been searching for a water bottle that's glass with a wide enough mouth that I could put a shaker ball in it. I've only found a few in glass (I don't get it, glass tastes better, doesn't smell and doesn't have any harmful chemicals to leach into body but try finding a glass shaker bottle there are not many on the market) and have been unhappy with them because either the mouth is not wide enough, the circumference is too big for my hand, the spout drips when you drink from it, the measurements on the bottle are hard to read, it's hard to clean or it breaks easily. FINALLY! This ticks all the boxes - I just threw a small shaker ball in there and it's perfect for my smoothies. I love how the measurements are in both ounces and in ML and easy to read and measure. It's easy to clean, the spout is the best around I don't end up spilling it down my shirt. And it's perfect size for my hand not to big. I also like the handle so you can easily carry. I am glad the top is not glass, because I've had glass tops before and they break and you have to pitch the whole thing. This is sturdy with the glass body and the top is really great. It's a perfect bottle!

I love, love, love, this bottle. The opening makes it far easier to drink, the measurements make it very easy to control the amount you drink each sip/gulp and the rubber encasing make it more durable. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star is because you need to be very careful when screwing the top on. It tends to not seal properly and then it drips when you drink. Knowing this, you need to make sure it’s secured properly each time.

I like these bottles because they don't affect the taste of the water at all. They also seem to be assembled so that I can get the top on with the spout facing a thumb-size area at the front of the silicone cover, so I don't get greasy fingerprints all over the bottle if I take a drink right after putting on hand lotion. With the silicone doohickey inserted into the flip top, and the flip top closed, this bottle doesn't spill if it tips over. But it doesn't easily tip over, because it's heavier than plastic or metal. That silicone doohickey also means I should remove it and wash it, the lid, and the bottle every day or two, which I don't always think about with plastic bottles.
