SAT Prep Plus 2018: 5 Practice Tests + Proven Strategies + Online (Kaplan Test Prep)

This really helped my daughter feel confident when she took the SAT because it helped prepare her so well for the test. There was multiple practice tests and examples of what you might see on the test. She got this for her test prep class and all she did was do all the activities in this book. These practice tests are very detailed and provides a detailed explanation to different methods that you can use on the test. Because of this my daughter was able to finish all parts of the SAT early and was able to even check her work.

My son is currently using this book along with others, to study for his PSAT and SAT. He is a junior. This book is a great resource to study with. Kaplan also has free online seminars that you can sign up for on their website.

I own my own test prep/tutoring/actor coaching company, and I really scan the available retail SAT/ACT test prep books, and this is, by far, the most accessable and successful test prep book which actually teaches proven test prep techniques in Math, Writing and Reading for the newly minted SAT and ACT. Though I have already caught a few mistakes, particularly in typos for one or two Math problems, this book contains two excellently written SAT Practice Tests which are comparable and even a bit more difficult than the actual SAT. Nothing could prep a group of students or an individual better than slightly more difficult problems and prectice tests in the Kaplan SAT Premier 201. This book has been revised, corrected and targeted with less extraneous material, and a considerably smaller book, which aids the morale of my students, believe me. The only two drawbacks are the consistent odd typo or problem in several sections which don't match with the Answers & Explanations in the back of the book, but these mistakes are minor with this edition, and the fact that Kaplan Test Prep makes you sign up with the company in order to complete 3 more SAT Practice Tests online. It's a bit of a forced marketing ploy, in my experienced opinion.

Used this mainly for the math portion and ended up scoring well, high enough to be accepted into my program. Definitely worth it for those who need a refresher after having been away from this kind of material for a while.

Bought this for my daughter and she used it to study before her SAT test a couple weeks ago. She said that she thought it was helpful and that it gave her some really good test taking tips.

I like being prepared for the SAT and this book gave me a lot of information to the SAT. I also enjoyed the SAT practice tests inside. Although I didn't see a huge improvement in my SAT score it may be different for you. Give it a shot.

This book clearly breaks down the specific reading and language skills students need, allowing students to practice particular skills. Tons of practice material included for all parts of the SAT.

Great book.... for years Kaplin has written some of the best test prep books on the market......as a SAT tutor I highly recommend this book.......A+A+A+A+A+A+A+A+A+A+
