Used, but TERRIFIC!
Took a chance and purchased used. Obviously as the picture of the shows. Was a bit nervous opening. Once I did, inside was beautiful, like new! PRO'S: - The cord - It easily retracts into the base. - The lid - Unlike the Cuisinart Elemental, with the Core models the lid easily locks into place. The Elementals lid must have been designed by someone who never cooks because it’s unnecessarily complicated, serious pain to deal with! Returned that model. - Power - Bigger IS better. Watts DO matter. Tried a Kitchenaid, but the lame 250watts was pathetic. Started using this Cuisinart Core day 1 and it has a powerful motor (950w), love it. Has power needed for making ground beef, chopping nuts - zero issues! There's no dough blade included. But please see Pic, experts actually don't recommend them! 😉 Had an older Cuisinart for years and it was a true workhorse. Unfortunately that model is no longer made. This is the closest to it, with the added benefit of having additional accessories available. Thank you Amazon for the great deal ($50 bucks)!!!

LOVE THE BOWL DESIGN & OVERALL PERFORMANCE ! BIG IMPROVEMENT OVER MY LAST ONE!
I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS MACHINE! I LOVE THE NEW DESIGN OF THE BOWL: IT IS WIDER AT THE TOP AND TAPERS SLIGHTLY AT THE BOTTOM AND IS NOT REAL TALL. ONE OF MY FAVORITE IMPROVEMENTS WITH THE MACHINE IS THAT YOU CAN TURN THE BOWL OVER AND SCRAPE OUT EVERYTHING INSIDE WITH THE BLADE STAYING IN PLACE! THIS IS A BIG CONVENIENCE! (THE OLD MODEL, WHEN TIPPED OVER, THE BLADE ALWAYS FELL OUT AND IT MADE THINGS MESSY). I ALSO REALLY LIKE THE WIDER MOUTH OPENING! THE FOOD DOES NOT HAVE TO BE PUSHED DOWN: YOU CAN PRETTY MUCH DROP THE FOOD IN AND GRIND IT UP. OF COURSE, IF NEED BE, THE PLASTIC PUSHER WILL PUSH THE FOOD DOWN THE SHOOT. THE TWO SLICING / SHREDDING BLADES OFFER "THIN" OR "MEDIUM" OPTIONS FOR SLICING MUSHROOMS, CARROTS, ETC. COMES WITH A HOLDER FOR ALL THE SHARP BLADES. EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS MACHINE IS WONDERFUL!

Great versatility and easy storage
This is a food processor not a 1970's Osterizer, the plastic bowl is for soft items, not ice. Yes, it will prep your ice for your Cinco de Mayo margaritas, but it will scratch. Enough engineering is built in to easily make hashbrowns or tomato sauce, chop nuts, mince or slice onions, prep carrots for canning or make quick work of cabbage for coleslaw with the change of the blade. This is where the difference between this product and a cheaper model shines, the blades hold up to use and don't bend or fail easily. For the price, a good buy.

Worth the Price
It was a bit more than I wanted to spend to replace my old Cuisinart, but I'm glad I did. It's powerful and flexible, and it feels very solid. It's a good size for most recipes--not too big and not too small. The tray that holds the blade parts is a great little feature. Only drawback is that the bowl has lots of nooks and crannies that food can get stuck in, but it's fine if it's rinsed immediately or you have a good dishwasher.

Wish they still made my 1980s model
The 50th anniversary model, is not the same as my previous Cuisinart. My old Cuisinart worked fine, but got a crack in the bowl, ordered new bowl which does not fit correctly to attach or remove lid and feeder portion. The FP-110 is more complicated to operate than my previous 1980s Cuisinart. The instruction book tells everything not to do. They don't tell you if the plastic bowl and accessories are dishwasher safe. A piece of apple got caught between the feeding tube and feeder holder. Unable to remove feeding tube, had to get my husband to remove the feeding tube to rinse away the apple piece.

Amazing food processor
I love this food processor. It’s easy to use, open, close. I’ve had so much trouble with other food processors I didn’t even use them. It’s made very well, very durable and for the money you can’t beat it. Thanks Cuisinart, thanks Anazon!
