Not good for steam iron.
I bought it thinking it would be thick. But it is so thin and when places on the kitchen counter to iron the steam concentration on the kitchen counter sweeper back to the top and started wetting the cloth that I was ironing. I could not recommend this product for steam iron. And it is very thin. Should have been better if it was thick.

I used it just to iron a pair of curtains on a table. The pad is not fit for purpose as not heatproof! Table surface badly damaged and scorched with iron on a medium steam setting. The item description says "Fibre pad protects Table or Bed from burning". It didn't.
