I gifted this to my sister and family for Christmas. She said it was awesome, flavorful, great variety of goodies and thoroughly enjoyed by family and guests.

Sausage was real good. Nuts and crackers were stale. Have no tried the cheese yet. I gave it 4 stars because of the tasty sausage.

UPDATE!!! So I found a phone number online and got ahold of Dan himself. He was so helpful and attentive to my concerns. He even sent a second oackage to make up for the bad sausage and my own expectations, which he didn't have to do! My husband was so happy and I was impressed as well ;) Thank you Dan for great sausage abd above and beyond customer service!!!! The photo and product description states there is salmon and there is none! It also states wisconsin cheeses, but only contains a cheese spread. The most frustrating part is one of the sausages has a white milky liquid in the packaging and I cannot find a way to contact them regarding the bad product for replacement or anything which is horrible customer service to begin with! This was my Husband's (whose name is Dan) Father's Day gift from our five kiddos who used their own money to purchase. We are all greatly disappointed in what was going to be an amazing gift - or so we thought. Thus we gave it only one star but believe it should have none.

I bought this crate for my hubby for Valentine's Day and he (we) loved it!! I had to try some, of course! We are summer sausage and smoke salmon fanatics and may I say, this is some of the BEST we have tasted so far. I can't even begin to describe how good that smoked salmon was... If there was one complaint, I would say that it was gone TOO FAST!!! So, the reason I call this review "crack mustard" is because there is this really small jar of "sweet & hot" mustard that comes with this package. When I describe it as "crack" it is because I am officially obsessed and will be buying a larger separate jar of this so I can eat it directly out of said jar... LITERALLY!!! It is the yummiest I have ever had... To be continued because now, I have to try some other "Dan the Sausage Man" stuff (or rather, buy more for my husband so we can "share")!! Thanks for a delicious experience!!

Sent this to my in-laws who live out of state They were absolutely in heaven. It was a simply scrumptious gift! The price was definitely worth all that they received. Hickory farms, Harry and David have nothing on this company! Better priced and the shipping was free!

The product is good. The box is nice. But I was really underwhelmed. The mustard has high fructose corn syrup in I t. And once I removed the packing peanuts, there really wasn’t much there for the price. I bought this as a tester with the potential of sending this same fun gift box to family and friends but I won’t be doing that. I’d rather have my woodworking husband make the box and fill it with treats from local Amish stores, farmers markets and my own homemade goodies. Paying full price for shipping, it will still be cheaper with more gifts.

I bought this for my husband's birthday. He's a Texan and loves his meat, and all he ever asks for when it comes to gifts is summer sausage, beef jerky, or a steak dinner. I'm from Seattle, so when I saw this summer sausage gift box from Seattle, I had to buy it - best of both worlds, right? ABSOLUTELY. This was the juiciest and most flavorful summer sausage either of us have had. The garlic and red pepper is especially delicious. I will be buying summer sausage from Dan the Sausage Man for ALL future gift baskets. I absolutely recommend you do, as well.
