Heat and Mass Transfer: Fundamentals and Applications

Took a graduate heat transfer class with the author as the instructor. It is a solid textbook that provides reliable real world examples. If focused on Aerospace heat transfer, worth having as a reference book.

This has been my favorite textbook in all of my curriculum so far. Had the digital PDF, decided to order the hard copy because I liked it so much. Very well written, step by step approach to problems.

I didn't like the class... no fault of the book though

Good book, the pages are colored, easy to read and laid out nicely. I hate paying $200 for a textbook, but at least you are getting a quality textbook for the price, it is not always the case.

This book will help you understand the fundamentals of heat transfer. Did not use it much for mass transfer principles but it gives indepth examples and works through problems so that its easy and makes sense.

If you've used any other Cengel's thermo textbook, you'll be entirely familiar with the formatting of this one down to the pictures at the edges of most of the pages to explain some of the more important concepts. Be very competent with differential equations, basic thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics, because winter is coming.

FE & PE prep justify the ridiculous cost. Great problem sets.
