The food processor you know you need
I bought this for my wife as a gift. It was one of the best gifts I ever picked for her. The color matches our other kitchen things. It has different blades and settings, so you can use it for a variety of things. It chops and blends everything very well. It actually does a great job no matter what you're trying to use it for. It doesn't leak, and it is super easy to clean. The blades are easy to take apart and put together. I looked at cheaper and more expensive ones, but I'm glad I picked this one.

An excellent, fast, and very reliable food processor
I would buy this particular food processor and size again! I love this excellent and quick food processor, and the many things it can do so easily. The parts change out quickly and are intuitive for you to add/change out. The bright red is a fun addition to my kitchen counter and doesn't take up a lot of space. It's fast, sturdy, and very quiet compared to my former food processor. This makes cooking preparation fun, quick, and much easier!

Great food processor, but don't try bread dough : )
I have used this amazing small food processor for a few months, and overall, I am satisfied with it's operation and it works for most of its intended functions. This was a low-cost alternative to me and for it's price, it performs ok. On the plus side, this little processor does most of what it was designed to do extremely well. It's quick to set up, easy to break down and store. It is quick to process the foods it's assigned. This processor is aloso really quiet compared to our old blender, and even our newer smoothie mixer. I really think it is doing it's job well. On the negative side, however, it is not capable of doing a good job with a full-size bread recipe. You might be able to get away with fixing non-yeast breads and other types of batter-type breads in it, but when it comes to yeasted breads, the dough is just too stiff in it. It not only bounced all over the place and caused a ruckus, but even after holding it down (for 15 minutes) so I could proceed with my recipe, its bread paddle kept coming loose and sliding up the pole where it was of no use to mixing the bread itself. A second, but lesser downfall is if you have typical over-the-counter cupboards, the processor is too tall to store under them when it is fully assembled. I do not have lower storage available so I leave larger appliances on one part of my counter and this processor was too tall. I have to store it with the food intake slid behind it vs on top. I believe if you're looking for a mixer that can do bread, it would be best to stick with the wide-based stand mixers rather than this tall, but otherwise efficient, model of food processor. It is just too tall and too narrow to make yeast bread Would I buy it again... yes, because it does most of what it was designed to do. I very rarely make bread anyhow :)

1 Year Update - It's worse than I thought
ONE YEAR LATER: I'm still disgusted with this food processor. As stated in my original review - IT'S CHEAPLY MADE. In less than 1 year, I had to replace the bowl. The flimsy handle created a problem with the screws on the bottom & the connection was lost - the blender stopped working. Since it was within the one year warranty - Kitchenaid replaced the bowl. I'm a baker. If you like to bake and make pie crust, this food processor is a nightmare. The bowl is too deep & the blender doesn't pull from the bottom well enough to mix the butter before it starts to soften. Speed is key when using cold butter or other cold ingredients. You can see the different grades of mixing when using this for crust of other grainy mixes. I have to knead by hand to get the dough well blended. It's also terrible for cookie dough & bread dough. Again, the bowl is too high & doesn't blend well. It shakes when using for tough batches. It's great for dry ingredients or for use for 2-3 cups. I will be buying another food processor bc this one is horrible for my needs. I purchased this food processor before Christmas 2022. I had a Cuisinart for 15 years that I loved. The lid broke and it would’ve cost me almost half the price of a new one. I decided it was time to buy a new food processor. I have several KitchenAid products that I have had for 15 to 18 years. I love my stand up blender and I would never trade it in. I love my immersion blender and use it all the time. Both have stood up over the years. The obvious choice for me was to buy a KitchenAid food processor because the brand has always been reliable. When looking at the pictures on Amazon, I was not incredibly impressed with the design. I decided to go with the brand that has always been good to me, the KitchenAid. When I took the product out of the box, I was still not impressed with the design. The first time I used it, I was happy bc it has the power I need. Fast forward…. Now that I’ve used it a few times, I’m incredibly disappointed with the construction. The plastic is cheap , the handle on the bowl is incredibly flimsy, the bowl itself is a thin cheap plastic, and the lock looks like something you would see on a child’s toy. I love the power that this food processor has. It does the job that I need it to do but I’m waiting for it to fall apart in my hands. I’m at a tipping point - I’m considering packing it up and sending it back. The lesson that I’ve learned from buying this product is that nothing is made to last anymore. In the future when purchasing an appliance I will go to the store, look at several brands, touch them, take them apart and evaluate the construction before I purchase anything online. Would I recommend this product? I don’t think so. I’m incredibly disappointed in the construction.

Can’t go wrong with Kitchen Aide
Easy to operate and I love the storage. Hint: put a clean cloth on the shelf where you store it so the suction cups don’t stick! I’m short and this has made getting it out so much easier!

Just DO it!
Forget Marty McFly, this is a dream machine. Easy to clean, easy to lift lid off for access to empty or clean, consistent chop size, or mince size instead of variable chunk sizes, easy compact storage. Fast, strong. Can replace a husband in my book. Lol. I feel really spoiled with this machine. (I am pretty sure the color red I chose makes it go even faster)… lol. Anyway, good investment.

We’re very happy with this KitchenAid food processor. It’s powerful, easy to use, and makes food prep much faster. It handles chopping, slicing, and shredding smoothly, and the results are consistent every time. My wife especially loves how simple it is to operate and clean, which makes cooking more enjoyable and less time-consuming. The build quality feels solid and reliable, just what you’d expect from KitchenAid. Overall, this is a great addition to our kitchen and well worth the purchase. Highly recommended.

Love this machine. We use it almost daily. No issue, strong design. And quiet to operate. I have had others that were louder than a 747 passenger plane taking off.

All the blades on this are very sharp - I cut myself on them unpacking it! Other than that, the appliance works well.
