Bellroy Venture Sling 6L - Bronze

OK who has the most bags, a 20 something socialite enjoying life and out on the town every evening with her friends, a happily married mum of 2 with a great career and well paid job or a 40 something man who spends way too much money on cameras and who is constantly looking for that that perfect camera bag? Yep, its me, and just still in my 40s thank you. I tried both this is and the larger 9L sling before settling on this one when looking for a right sized sling for wandering around with an old film camera when traveling. The 9L variant is very good, but large and does not sit so comfortably across my chest, side or back. This size will comfortably hold a Hasselblad 500CM with 80mm lens (see the picture), or if you use the internal divider you can easily carry a 35mm camera with two to three lenses without everything rattling about. You'll have space on the top for a folded up bucket hat . The interior has pockets for passport, lens filters and in the inside of the top lid has a great pocket for sunglasses or mobile phone. The strap is great, although I never use the quick release thing that you always see on the reviews, its easier enough to lift of your head and bucket hat when taking it off. The material is good, nice and strong and the zips are of a good waterproof design. If you are looking for a sling to carry a mixture of camera kit, whether that is film or mirrorless this is a good choice in my opinion.

I purchased this bellroy venture sling 6L bag months ago and use it every week. (I have previously purchased one of there leather wallets which it top quality so was happy to purchase this bag even if there were cheeper options) I can fit in an A5 sketch pad (not a ring binder one one with a spine) and a water bottle with room for lots more items. I can also swap out the sketch pad for quite a chunky camera (lumix lx100) All the different compartments come in very useful for all my EDC (every day carry) items. It’s very strong and comfortable to wear, my only negative point is one of the branding letters (e) has lost it’s lower swoosh but not really a deal breaker for me. I’d definitely purchase this again and other Bellroy products.

I was after an everyday bag to carry a small camera and a few other small items. I was a bit reluctant as not keen on the crossbody style of bags but was drawn to the Bellroy Venture sling as I liked the design more than most and the versatility of the inner pockets. I was really torn between this and the larger 9L but really glad I went for the 6. It's the perfect size for what I need with a bit of space to spare. I was also really pleased to find the strap could be adjusted long enough to wear this more like a small messenger bag than the sling style which is more to my taste. Really well made, thoughtfully designed and I expect will last for years.

Quality is excellent, like all Bellroy bags. Big enough to carry all my daily essentials and a small camera and rain jacket. Plenty of inner pockets for organisation. Not totally waterproof but resistant enough for a light shower. Biggest risk is water coming in through the zip which can happen easily as it collects there

This bag literally lives on me, I take it absolutely everywhere. I wanted something to house my Sony A7C and Zeiss 35mm 2.8, as well as my Pocket 3. Also in the bag I hold my passport, a charger, mini biro, various cables, keys, vape gear, mini work knife, phone, mini tripod... and the glasses pocket is genius. I love how this fits, it's extremely comfortable and despite carrying all that weight, it never slips, it stays in place. The 'waterproof' zips, with their rubber/plastic lining keeps light rain out, and I've been caught out on showers before now without any harm to its contents. The material itself is hard-wearing. I spent weeks looking for a bag like this. I bought and returned three bags (thank you, Amazon) but I realised that, since you get what you pay for, I may as well splash out and buy something decent. Because I know this fits so well I'm never reticent to pick it up, meaning I always have my camera on me because this sling goes everywhere with me.

Great quality, great capacity and comfortable to use.

Very good quality sling, loved the materials, the organization and the strap. But... This thing for sure does not have 6 lt capacity. I have a 3 lt Aer day sling, and I needed a bigger one when I'm out all day and I need to carry a small umbrella, a water bottle, and an extra power bank. I tested the sling and it could fit maybe a little bit more than the 3 lt Aer, but certainly not double the capacity, not even close. Also, I didn't like the lack of a back pocket, to put things like a passport or a wallet. Overall a good sling for someone who is looking for 3.5 - 4 lt of capacity and doesn't need a back pocket. But not for me.

Pesquisei muito antes de comprar essa bolsa, e não me arrependo. Quando viajo acho mais seguro usar slingbag, pela prsticidsde e segurança. Usava uma de 4L da Fjallraven, que surpreendentemente é maior que essa de 6L da Bellroy. Comprei na cor cobre, que é linda, e o tamanho e divisórias são perfeitos. Vale muito a pena. Mas fui taxada e tive que pagar pra liberarem, quando no anúncio informa que isso não aconteceria.

LOVE! Got this little pack for a recent trip and I’ve using it daily since the trip. It’s big enough to fit a small water bottle and note book. It has a bunch of compartments which is great for organizing. It has a long strap and is relatively lightweight. Highly recommend! Nice fabric, looks sleek and it’s the most functional sling bag I’ve seen. For travel, if you don’t want to use it as your personal item it’s light weight and small enough to squeeze in your suitcase or backpack while on the plane.

Von Zeit zu Zeit stößt man auf ein Produkt, das einfach so gut ist, dass man das Bedürfnis hat, es in die Welt hinauszuschreien. So verhält es sich mit meiner Bellroy Venture Sling! Ich hatte das Glück, ein Exemplar in der Farbe "Basalt" zu einem extrem günstigen Preis zu erwischen – einer Art Grau mit einem Hauch von Blau – eine wirklich einzigartige Farbe, die total mein Stil ist. Leider scheint diese Farbe nicht mehr erhältlich zu sein, aber wenn Ihr Glück habt, findet Ihr vielleicht noch eine! Das Raumangebot ist perfekt, um ein DIN A5 Notizbuch, ein iPad mini 6, eine kleine Powerbank und eine Fülle von Kleinigkeiten unterzubringen. Die innere Aufteilung der Tasche ist so durchdacht, dass alles einen festen Platz hat und nichts unkontrolliert herumschwirrt. Das ist ein großes Plus für jemanden, der gerne organisiert ist! Außerdem sorgt die helle Farbe des Innenraumes dazu, dass man alles leicht findet - ganz im Gegensatz zu einer Tasche mit schwarzem Innenraum. Sehr nett ist auch das weich gefütterte Sonnenbrillen-Fach in das ich meine teure Sonnenbrille ohne zusätzliche Box sicher geschützt verstaut habe. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist das geniale Konzept der Reißverschlüsse. Normalerweise muss man die Tasche öffnen, indem man die Reißverschlüsse auseinanderzieht. Bei der Bellroy Venture Sling hingegen zieht man die Reißverschlüsse zusammen, um die Tasche zu öffnen. Zwar kann man die Tasche so nicht auf beiden Seite gleichzeitig vollständig öffnen, im Alltag erleichtert es aber den Zugriff enorm und vollständig öffnen muss man sie in der Praxis nur beim ersten Einräumen. Auch die seitlichen Riemen, mit denen man die Tasche zusammenziehen und flacher machen kann, wenn sie nicht voll gefüllt ist, sind ein cleveres Feature. Ich habe dort einen Heroclip-Karabiner befestigt, mit dem ich die Tasche überall bequem aufhängen kann – sehr praktisch, insbesondere in öffentlichen Toiletten, wenn kein Haken vorhanden ist! Was die Qualität betrifft, ist die Verarbeitung der Bellroy Venture Sling absolut erstklassig. Sie sieht nicht nur schick aus, sie fühlt sich auch so an. Ich fasse das Material total gerne an. Sie ist robust, gut gemacht und hinterlässt einen hochwertigen Eindruck. Ich bin im Internet auf einige Berichte gestoßen, die von Problemen mit den Clips der Tragegurte berichten. Bei mir hat bisher alles tadellos funktioniert, wahrscheinlich weil ich die Clips im Alltag nicht öffne und die Sling stattdessen schnell über den Kopf ziehe. Zusammenfassend kann ich sagen: Diese Tasche hat mein Leben wirklich bereichert. Ich gehe nicht mehr ohne sie aus dem Haus.

Wasn't sure whether to buy the 2.5L or the 6L, glad I went with the 6L, which is still not big on me. Nice to have that bit of extra space without having to stuff everything into 6L. I do question how they come up with the litre sizes. I don't believe either 2.5L or 6L are truly that size. Fill them with water and measure?
