...there are suitable replacement motors available right here on Amazon - the part you're looking for is the second one you'll find in a Reddit thread if you look for D-TOF Malfunction. If you can turn a screwdriver, you can repair your robot vacuum without having to go through the Warranty process (and get a poor quality replacement that will likely fail, too.). Remember - any time a part fails in your life...it's time for a performance upgrade replacement! =)The first 3 months with the vacuum were 1000% amazing. The TECH in the vacuum is great. There's just the one part that was...perhaps too cheaply sourced for the price point.

The media could not be loaded. This is so convenient. I just tap the button on my way out the door, and when I get home my floors are perfect. The machine even puts itself away. It even empties itself!It's not too loud. You can hear it work but it's not much. I'm very please with the suction power

However it was better than nothing. Unfortunately, after careful mapping by my husband who is an IT expert, it still left large areas unvacuumed, the dirtiest parts, most of the time. Even when I manually picked it up and put it right where the dirtiest parts were, it would remove a tiny bit, then move to other cleaner areas and vacuum those. Frustrating.Mopping happened only once, and we had it about a month. Every time we asked it to mop there was a problem of some kind.Since it was better having it, as it was easy to use remotely we have ordered the most expensive model from the same brand, hoping for a better result. The most objective statement I can make, is that this one performed only a small part of what had been promised.

When it is working, it is mediocre at best. The dust bin does not fully empty. The suction is okay but does not pick up dry cat food. The battery life has degraded substantially at about 1 year in. The mop is streaky and even on the high flow setting gets dry before finishing a average size kitchen. It has lost the map several times so you need to start that process over from time to time. Even though I have the voice activation disabled, it will start talking to you from time to time for no reason. The obstacle avoidance does not work. It frequently losses the wi-fi connection and needs to be reconnected. My internet provider recently upgraded to 5G and now the unit will not connect at all. I contacted support and they tell me I must disable the 5G in my router to connect the X1. Why can't they do a software update? What a POS.

Immaculate floors. Got this for my mama. No more cleaning floors in her retirement as a corporate head..no way not for her. She loves. So all is good.

I have 5 dogs and a cat. I work very hard to keep my home not looking like I have that many pets. I’ve had several Roomba i7 models. They work fabulously but seem to consistently stop functioning by month six. God love Costco for exchanging them every timeI did a lot of research before purchasing this Deebot through Costco m. I so wanted to love it, but I was deeply disappointed within 2 runs. I was very skeptical when it emptied only once and said it had done the whole house. I did another run, full suction, and got the same results. The floors literally looked like they hadn’t been touched. I could see tire tracks in the light layer of dust that had been there (I deep cleaned and mopped last night). Needless to say, it’s back in the box ready to return.The other problem I can see with this machine is all the cool sensors getting dust on them and requiring cleaning all the time. I didn’t get that far. The camera is super cool though.

At first, I was convinced that the vacuum wasn't performing well. It seemed to struggle with picking up dirt and pet hair. Upon investigation, I discovered that the bin was completely clogged with dog hair. Shows how much junk was on the floor. I had improperly installed the dust bag. Now that I have figured everything out, he vacuum operates like a dream. My floors have never looked better, and I'm thrilled with the results. This machine is absolutely worth every penny, especially with a dog that sheds like mine. I have it clean at 2am while I am asleep and my floors look terrific.

I used to clean every day now this helps me have more time to do something else!
