I create original art t-shirts from highly-detailed ink drawings on paper and/or line images I've created in Photoshop, and which I've uploaded to SD card or USB. It projects a sharp image for me to trace over it and onto the t-shirt or other surface. I've attached an image of an example t-shirt that I made using this projector. Along with SD ad USB ports there's an HDMI, and you can connect your phone to it directly, you just need an adapter to HDMI. But for my purposes, SD or USB is just fine. The other is for people who want to watch movies. I do that with my TV, and I don't need a constant source of entertainment, especially when I'm creating stuff. Simple to use. Has a lens cover, a focus roller, and a slider for projector angle correction. It's got other features such as Slide Show but that's not helpful for me and the purposes for which I use it. It's a really good art projector at a reasonable price. If you buy something for $25, expect a cheap-looking picture. But you might be surprised at how sharp the image is for right at (at least currently) $100. If you want to know how good it is for movies, I'm sure there are numerous reviews to which you may refer.

Purchased this because shipping a TV overseas is bulky and quite expensive. When we are out of the States, we watch Amazon Prime movies and the like. This little guy travels small and light and works like a charm. The room needs to be darkened, and the bigger the screen size (I believe) the better the quality of the picture. Not only can we have TV overseas... Now, we have a larger screen (if we choose to) than even our 70 inch, at home (in the States), that cost quite a bit more. And it makes us cringe to think what that would cost us in shipping and duties to ship that monster. This was an awesome solution to sitting huddled in front of a laptop screen just to enjoy a movie, games, photos, etc. together. And now we can invite the whole gang over for movie night and wind up the coolest couple on the island! Thanks!!! As for the speakers... We purchased a small, portable, set of speakers that blast out the sound... So the sound is not an issue at all. But the speaker on the unit, alone, is still not bad and the fan noise is minimal and easy to tune out as white noise. The price is nice for such a slice. ;)

Disappointed a lot of reviews about how this product is great but the one I got didn't work at all returning. Update 10/2/17 So I bought the projector back in August and for some reason it din"t work and I'm no good at trying to fix anything or knowing how so I return it and got my money back. The seller was very understanding and tried to help with the problem but like I said I had no idea why the projector didn't work so I just asked for my money back I didn't want another projector. Now me having said that to the seller and they wanting to help in everything they could possibly they sent me another projector free of charge because they believe in what they're selling and wanted me to have a good experience with their projector. When I got it the second time I was thinking it wasn't going to work again and didn't even want to try it but finally decided to set it up since the weather is still so nice and it does work! Its awesome its little and so easy to use and the picture looks great and sounds good too. But connecting it to a speaker its better. This projector works great with my computer and phone and for some reason when I connect it to my blu ray player it doesn't work I get the image but no sound maybe I have to update my blu ray or buy a different one to use with the projector maybe my blu ray its just old. Overall I think this projector is a good deal it does its job well and if your undecided just get it and try it for yourself or contact the sellers for any questions they will work with you they are very helpful and they want their customers to be happy with their products!

It's a nice first projector - the only reason I am not completely satisfied is because I am used to my 100 lumen portable brookstone projector and I thought this would be of comparable quality. I really wanted it to be, but it's not. The throw is great and the screen size is amazing; this projector has turned my entire front wall, door and high ceilings and all, into a tv. But (and I can't find this verified anywhere in the manual or specs) I believe it plays back at a lower frame per second rate than my laptop streams, and I got this as first and foremost a display for Rocket League, Zelda, action movies, and other high-frame-rate content. I am going to have to return it due to that issue alone; in the first 5 minutes of watching video I knew it wouldn't work for me. But I believe this is an issue that would go unnoticed if you weren't used to projecting and didn't work at your college's campus Digital Cinema Projector theater like I did. The power supply is also too short to make relocation easily manageable - that and the frame rate are my only negatives. Overall it's a great projector, great price, but just shy of my great expectations. I am happy I tried this new brand, but I will be returning this item so I can purchase something that will play comfortable video for the years to come.

For the price, this is an amazing device and delivers impressive image quality and a reasonable brightness. Especially good for use in a dark room from a few meters away, it produces a large, vivid, and well focused image. To be clear, this is in a different category than bigger projectors that cost 10 times more. The main drawback is the projection brightness, but it was better than I expected and great for use at night or with blinds closed. The availability of 2 USB ports, HDMI and analog in makes this very versatile. E.g. you can power a Chromecast from the USB and plug through HDMI without additional power adapters. I would 100% recommend this for non-professional use.

Ho comprato questo proiettore 3 anni fa, lo uso poco ed è questo il motivo per cui recensisco ancora adesso, volevo scrivere dopo averlo usato abbastanza per vedere la durabilità nel tempo. Visto il prezzo conveniente cui l'ho pagato, trovo ottimi la luminosità e il contrasto e veramente potente l'audio. Ovvio che non ci si aspetta un certa luminosità in una stanza già luminosa, ma dev'essere abbastanza buia. Comodo il telecomando e facilissime le regolazioni di inclinazioni e messa a fuoco. Grandezza proiettore molto compatta (circa 19x16x8 cm) tanto che risulta facile il trasporto anche per il ridotto peso. In base alla distanza tra il proiettore e il muro, varia la grandezza dello "schermo". Secondo me resta sempre molto nitido. Non si surriscalda dopo la visione di un film di due ore, o forse resisterebbe anche oltre. Insomma consiglio l'acquisto per divertirsi nel vedere film e trasformare la propria casa in un cinema, senza avere aspettative troppo alte.
