Zippo Inside Guts Brass Finish (No Outside Case) Only Inside Insert

This lighter is extremely important and sentimental to my heart, literally a gift from God and I've had it for years and would be devastated to lose it or to see it destroyed. I've carried it every day with me since it was given to me and I use it everyday multiple times a day because I am a smoker. After these years using it everyday the striker wheel was becoming very worn out and it just wasn't creating enough spark to consistently ignite the lighter causing me to have to strike it multiple times in a row and it was only getting worse. I finally decided to pull the trigger and get a new insert for it with a new wheel and came here to Amazon where I very quickly saw a listing for this brass coated insert that I didn't know they made and as soon as I saw it I knew that it would look tight as h e double hockey sticks having had the normal stainless one the whole time leading up to this I was super excited and received it today and it did not disappoint. It's a name brand Zippo inserts so just like all good Zippo stuff made in America and the brass with the fact that the engraving done by myself by the way on the front of the lighter that exposed the brass under the lighters factory stainless steel coating for whatever the finish on a regular Zippo it is called it just tied the lighter together perfect. If you have a Zippo lighter that is kind of a minimalist design with not a lot of flashy colors but if it's the stainless with a little bit of brass or even gold on the lighters outside this insert will probably look amazing in your lighter. The lighter feels not brand new because I wouldn't want it to cuz like I said get from God but now God and I made it together and my only concern for the future is I really hope the hinge doesn't ever break on this lighter because I know that Zippo will supposedly let you send a lighter into them and lifetime warranty repair it for you but I've heard horror stories of people sending sentimental lighters for them to get repaired and Zippo losing their lighter I won't take that chance I will learn and get what I need to spot weld a new hinge on the light of myself if I have to.

My adult daughter wanted a zippo for her birthday to look cool like a anime character or something. So I was like, hey I still have my old zippo from high school, do you want that? It was being a bit temperamental so after replacing the wick, batting, flint and spring I was like "oh well, I am just going to replace the entire inside." This product came as advertised, it fit into my old zippo body. It is good quality steel with a brass finish to match the brass Zippo I had. It lit right up after filling with fuel and solved my problem. I was happy with how it functioned both in fuel capacity and wind resistance it seems identical to the original Zippo guts.

The finish isn’t exactly brass, but the thing works like a charm. I have been using it for several years now, only had to replace the flint once, and it just keeps on flaming. Say what you want, it works. And that is what really matters.
