Will this help with the break in?

It will definitely soften the leather, but I have always been told that you want to break in the boots BEFORE you oil them. I'm not sure how much of a difference it will make, but I buy Danners, which take a while to break in, and my boot guy recommended that I let them form to my foot THEN treat them.

Will this fill in scuff marks?

Makes the color of my boots darker all over so the scuff marks don't show as bad. But doesn't really fill in the mark.

Can boot oil be used on leather sofas?

You can, but it’s a lot thicker and more expensive than a leather lotion. If it makes the boots look good it will do the task you need. Use thin coats and buff off. May darken leather fyi……

Is this safe to use on leather flip flops? Not sure about it being directly against skin.

I would think it should be fine, I don't think there is anything harsh in it but haven't used it against skin myself
