I was a bit worried this item would be flimsy and break on me over time. After using this product for more than 6 months I am very pleased by the product. I am currently using this filter floss holder on my UNS 10 gallon peninsula tank.

The OEM filter socks clog too much and have issues with water level and ato. This little piece of plastic with the right amount of filter floss is perfect for adding mechanical filtration without water level change in the main display on my 15AOI.

Overall this seems like a pretty durable product. Clipped on the back of Waterbox 10. Wish the height was a tad bit higher. Barely enough space for about 2in filter floss from inflow

This works great. No modifications needed to install. Relaces the filter socks with no problems

This is essential unless you want to pay over 10 dollars to keep replacing the filter sock. Saved so much money using my own filter material.
