Perfect fit on a 2001 TJ. If it came in grey to match the interior it would look like it came from the factory

Super easy installation, but as some have mentioned it can impact your speaker cone. Simple to fix, all I did was bend the switch contacts to the left about 45 degrees, and zip tied the wires together. POOF! Problem solved, and they work GREAT. I thought I might bump them with my leg getting in and out, but so far no trouble. If I do encounter a problem, I'll just take the switches out and turn them over. GREAT product in my opinion!

As many reviews have said, the existing OEM speaker behind the OEM vent panel will be in the way. I found that just turning the speaker upside down clears the wiring and switches. Also, as others said, bending the spades at least 45° will help the spades and fit into the cavity. You'll find that the provided spade terminals on the wiring (don't' bend the spades on the switches) are cheap and will probably break when you try to bend them. I had to replace almost all the spade terminals because of this. I ended up using the yellow for #12 wire so that the leads that were doubled for the daisy chaining would fit into the bigger yellow spade barrel. YMMV. Also, when trying to fit the wired switch panel into the slots, it kept binding for some reason. I found that the lower plastic guide pin, below the metal clip at bottom, had been pushed down and was not fitting into the socket in the dash. So, watch that. I used a relay tied to a fuse tap from the radio fuse in the glove box fuse panel to power this switch panel, so they switches weren't hot all the time. Once installed, the switches worked great and I'm please with the end result. The panel color is slightly off from the OEM dash color, but it's such a slight difference you won't notice it unless you're looking for it. I would have been happier with the price being $10 lower, but if you want to avoid cutting holes in dash for switches, this is a clean option.
