EKO Madison Brushed Stainless 50 Liter/13.2 Gallon Step Trash Can with Inner Liner - Fingerprint Resistant Finish

This trash can is pretty nice, for sure has an upscale, elegant look to it. I wasn’t expecting guests to immediately notice, and ask about the new trash can. I chose the matte stainless steel, because it accents well in my white kitchen. Thankfully my dogs do not rummage through trash, so no worries about scratches. The soft close lid is by far my favorite feature. It closes very slowly, giving you extra time for items you may have forgotten to throw away. The lid also has a switch-lock, it holds itself open. The step pedal is built pretty solid, no slop or flimsiness. There is a little square compartment underneath the lid, for holding filters and deodorizers, neither are included. I do not use this because, I use branded scented trash bags… However there was a 12-pack of plain trash bags included, which I use for the trash can in the garage. The removable bin makes changing out the bag super easy. If the bag is too heavy and overloaded to slide out, I just carry the bin outside. The bin the more rectangular shape but, the bags are round, so sometimes the bags will stick and start ripping. Negative: Though there are rubber grips on the bottom, this trash can tends to slide back. Being soft metal, it’s relatively lightweight.

This is an excellent trash can. It is good sized. 13 gallon bags fit nicely. The inner bucket makes changing out the trash easy - and should I have a bag break, the can slides out easily for cleaning. We went with the step open and not the battery powered automatic opener because I didn’t want to have to deal with changing batteries. The step open works great as the can is well balanced. The soft close is an added plus that I didn’t realize how much I’d appreciate it until I saw it (and didn’t HEAR it) close. The Nardo Grey color is attractive and does not show fingerprints. Very happy with this purchase.

I can't believe I'm reviewing a trashcan but this one is amazing! I used to fight putting a new bag in and taking it out. Not with this baby....It is so easy to change bags now. I like how far the lid opens and how you can lock it wide open. Closes slowly and quietly. Very sturdy and we'll made. My one complaint is it does slide on the floor so I will have to find something to stop it from sliding. Not a game changer though. I also like the option to pop in and an air freshener. I use a cotton round with some drops of essential oil and it works well. Several reviews complained that they weren't included but no where in the description did it say they were. DIY works for me

Sleek and sturdy stainless steel trash can that looks great in any kitchen. The size is perfect for the standard 13 gallon size trash bags from any company (I like the Glad Forceflex best). The step to open the cover is easy to use and the lid closes tightly when it drops back down.

I really like this trashcan! My old one broke so I was searching amazon for a new one. Although all of the cans were pricey, I decided on this one. I like the matte finish, it's quiet operation and size. The other nice feature is the lock when you are changing bags. You can lock the lid up instead of keeping your foot on the pedal. It comes with sample trash bags, and I've already purchased more because I like the size of them and how much they hold.

I bought two for our bathrooms mainly to keep the dogs out of the trash. They do a great job and look super nice and are plenty sturdy. Still have plenty of bags that they came with and will certainly buy more of the same brand bags. I have always used old grocery bags in our bathroom cans but I am hooked on these perfectly sized drawstring bags. I will certainly buy more when I need them. I also love the the small hole in the back that allows you to draw the bag tight. Works great and makes the can look sleek.

I love the roominess. My Hippo Sak fits perfectly on the insert bucket, which has handles and is easy to remove. The extra width allows a week’s worth of trash, with room to spare. Because of the extra room, you don’t have to jam down to make everything fit. This makes it easy-peasy to tie the bag and lift out, without tugging or tearing. I took this photo in front of the stove to give a good view of the size. This arrived well packaged with no damage. The foot pedal is easy to use. The flat top lid allows it to open without bumping into whatever the trashcan is up against. The slow-close lid works great. The stay-open slide is easy to flip. I personally love the white - it blends in so much better than the traditional silver or black. I put a dryer sheet into the filter box attached to the inside of the lid - cheap way to mask any unpleasant odors when the lid opens. The mat white finish is easy to clean and does not show fingerprints. I don’t know why kitchen trash cans are so expensive, now. For me, if I have to spend $80, this roomy, high quality product is the best bang for the buck.

Love this trash can!! Has a plastic can inside you can take out for easy removal of bag. Holds a lot if you smash trash down as you fill it, results are similar to a compactor. Lid is made for super easy clean-up, not a lot of crevices for food to get stuck in.

So far this is an excellent bin! It’s practical and a perfect size to fit in the only available area of my kitchen. It also looks great and the bin liners that come with it are really good. Just hoping the pedal will last a long time! Was well packaged so arrived in perfect condition. Highly recommend.
