Shokz Open Run Headphones

I bought these to replace an older Shokz set. the bone induction is great as it lets me still hear the traffic around me as i ride. the sound quality of these is better than the previous older set. they fit comfortably over the ears. if there is one minor thing is the back band sometimes clashes with the back of my cycle helmet, not enough to mark it down though. 5*

They are excellent for remaining aware of people/conversations or your surroundings if you use them for cycling outside. The sound quality is surprisingly good (for my first pair of bone conduction earphones) but in music, the vocals can get lost as you up the volume of the earphones. Obviously, they're competing with the volume of your surroundings as your ears hear it but if that's a compromise you're prepared for, can recommend them

I bought these for cycling so I could listen to some background music and remain situationally aware. They’re great for this, and I imagine for running too. Certainly for people who find in-ear headphones to be too isolating from their surroundings. They stay put and work well for phone calls too. They’re not perfect though. The sound is never going to be as good as and over-the-ear or in-the-ear style. You certainly don’t get a very rich sound from them, and they don’t go very loud - but they’re more than adequate. The other thing is to be aware that the strap/loop at the back sticks proud of the back of the head and if wearing a bulky hood, pushes against it. Fine with a cycling helmet and neck gaiter though. The charger has a really nice magnetic connection and charges quickly. The buttons take a bit of getting used to though, especially when being worn. They’re a bit small and fiddly. They’re excellent at what they do. They’re not going to win any “best sound” awards but if you’re after something for working out, I think they’re amazing.

Great headphones for running and activity while keeping aware of surroundings.

it is second pair of Shoks headphones. First, Aeropex, were used during three years. Worn it everyday, from 7morning till 22evening. at the end of life, after three years of using, right phone loosing inside the case and not transmit sound. Decide to buy another set from Aftershokz - it bring me same reliable sound and battery life. Extremely helpful during Car driving, bicycle riding or any other activities for phone conversation or simply music listening. Highly recommend.

I've a habit of researching purchases to the nth degree and had avoided bone conduction earphones because some reviews talked about annoying vibrations. So I tried a few other types of earbuds in the meantime. The full in-ear ones are painful for me, and I can hear the thud of every one of my footsteps. The hook over ones I tried are OK but not amazing. But these are perfect. I use them for dog walking and want to be able to hear what's going on around me both as a sole female walker but also for random chats with other dog walkers. The controls are intuitive. They connect automatically when I switch on. I can't comment on the sound quality at an expert level but I have no complaints about the music and podcasts I listen to. And I haven't experienced any vibrations at all. Love them and wish I'd bought them sooner.

I bought these for marathon training and race day, and they worked great—meeting all my expectations. However, within 12 months, one of the earpieces stopped working. I took good care of them, so I’m disappointed, especially since they’re advertised as durable. I expected better longevity for the price.

I cannot stand earbuds, and over the ear sets end up making my ears sore. These are perfect. The sound quality is perfect and when have used the mic my voice has been crystal clear according to those I was talking to. I also like that it is easy to sync with different devices and I can switch quickly to whatever device I am using for the headset. I have forgotten I am wearing them they are so comfortable and they do not interfere with my glasses or sunglasses. I wear them to the gym and they don't come off or need adjusting like ear buds or over the ear set. I recommend them to anyone and everyone and I would 100% buy them again. Oh...and they charge really quickly and each time you turn them on it tells you about the battery life, there is no guessing. The charge lasts for a long time. I can go days without needing to charge it and that is after hours of use per day.

I purchased OpenRun via Amazon (Nov 6 202), this is my 2nd purchase of the same product, I thought that I can use the app to connect to the OpenRun, I found out that it is not a supported product, can I return and replace with OpenRun Pro 1 or 2.

It was a Christmas present and he loves it! Great quality sound without hurting your ear and you keep aware of your surroundings. Great finding!

I am a cyclist and thus this bone conduction technology seemed interesting to me as it will enable me to enjoy music and keep an ear on the traffic noise and ambient sounds as well. I was however not sure of how effective this tech is. Moreover this thing does not comes cheap hence I did bit of research and then finally decided to go for it. And now I am happy for my decision. This works quite well, sound is better than expected. I did not expect the sound quality so nice given it is actually bypassing the ears. Battery life is amazing, better than what is given in the product manual. Call quality is ok, i do not use for call though as I do not call while riding. And finally, the design and build quality is premium, just what you will be expecting from a pricey piece . Fully satisfied.... Now long rides are not boring anymore. After getting this, I am enjoying my 100K rides..
