Came in good handy when snow plowing. Smell is okay and definitely can smell the charcoal in but it’s not strong enough. Easy to clean and install new filters. Thickness is okay and comfortable. Airflow is good as well and was definitely a must for me.

I looked at many of the dual port masks on Amazon; went over the reviews and the number of them. Most import. I looked at the MFG claims, 'English', timeliness of shipping, and response to an issue. All of these were excellent, either by review or personal experience. I also spent a great deal of time reviewing replacement filters. I found cheaper replacements, but none seemed to have the same quality. Of course both evaluations are purely subjective and 'marketing'. I do have >11 years in the field of Environmental, Health & Safety and another 20 years of Federal Service involving Product Assurance, Design ....So. without sophisticated laboratory equipment to evaluate a product, one 'rolls the dice, and takes a chance'. I chose this manufacturer. After using the product three times now for 2-4 hours continuously I can say that the fit and seal were very good; nose clearance to mask, very good; ease of taking a breath, while holding palms over 'exhaust' ports, excellent; ease of breathing out very good. I did find that I had to adjust the back strap 2-3 times to find the best position for ease of head movement. Even when loose the seal remained very good. One mask had a manufacturing problem when the package was opened. This is something that the Seamstress or Quality Assurance Inspection should have caught. I contacted the seller. In approximately 48 hours I had a replacement. This is excellent response and Turn-Around. To 'cut' the Mfg some slack, even in the very best "ISO-" Facilities errors do happen, though very rarely. Since I don't know what their Defect Rates are or Returns are, they get a PASS, and Excellent Customer Service. The only problem IS NOT PRODUCT related. If you place on going to any Medical Office or Facility. DO NOT WEAR it. As soon as I entered the building, while having my temperature scanned, I was instructed to remove it, because the exhaust air is not filtered. I said I was unable to get any seal with a disposal mask (blue type), any kind. The response was they cannot permit the use of any mask that has ports, even if the ports are "PM 2.5" filtered since they are not approved for medical use. So, I asked what about me breathing and exhaulting unfiltered air? They said they wete sorry. I asked if I could wear the Blue Mask under my mask???? No, I'm sorry. In the non-hospital complex, I saw all kinds of "filtering devices" being used, from "Scarf" types [filters ~57% of I/E air] to Hospital approved 'fitted masks [filters ~87% I/E air]. So far, this type mask appears to be the best mask out there as long as: THE WEARER MUST BE/IS VIRUS/BACTERIA FREE TO USE AN UNFILTERED EXHAUST MASK for the welfare and safety of others. My bottom line - Great product so far. And, I will wear an "unfiltered N95 or N99 mask when going to any medical building of hospital. (Note: In one instance even that was not good enough. I had to throw this type mask fo a "blue mask". Their reason, (A valid one), they did not know where, how many times used, or 'cleanliness' of hands when touching it. This mask and THEIR filters get a 5 & 5.

Mask is a tad short from nose to chin therefore not complete protection. But overall a decent masking system.

I orders this for work and it is amazing. I work in the medical field where I go into patients home. And to be able to talk without having to readjust the paper mask. Am able to breath comfortably and the fit is perfect. I am definitely recommending this product to my boss. To see we can order them for the other technician. I could go on and on about this product. It is a game changer for me and my job where am required to wear a mask while am dealing with patients.

I got the BASE CAMP M Plus Dust Mask mainly for cleaning days at home, to avoid breathing in the smell of Clorox and other cleaning liquids—and it’s been amazing. I have purchased several forms of this mask. I like the fit, concept and replaceable filter. My major complaint is the valve comes off very easily and the cost to replace the valve is cost of the valve + shipping. This is almost the cost of a new mask and therefore questionable to continue purchasing this brand.

Bought this for a flight. I'm terminally ill and have MCS with congestive heart failure. It was so very important for me to get through this trip without inhaling synthetic fragrances(detergents, shampoo, perfume.. etc) The entire trip was a nightmare due to this mask. I felt air coming in and out by my cheeks and was worried and rightfully so... Not only did this not protect me from what could cause a cardiac event, I got harassed by the jet blue supervisor for taking off the mask and just having a rag pressed to my face( worked better than the mask). She said the attendants would be wondering why I had the rag covering me... not that that should matter... point is, if the mask just worked... none of that would have happened. I breathed tons of fragrance, they had to call the paramedics, I almost was deemed not fit to fly, got harassed, had heart palpitations and severe trouble breathing. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT buy this mask if you also have a medical need for it like me. I know it's not common but maybe this review will save one person from having a heart attack... they told me I had all the signs and wanted to take me to the hospital.. but I was going to my new caregivers home and desperately needed to board this flight. I had a rag pressed hard to my face for 9hrs.. causing lots of pain.. my nose is still red and hurts to touch it. This also caused me to have to work very hard to breathe the entire time. It was a medical nightmare I wouldn't wish on anyone but one person..... I'm still recovering from the ordeal and this Conant is lucky they haven't been sued. I'm sure it works fine for someone without a medical need for it.. how funny

Wood working creates a lot of dust. The effectiveness of this filter is understated. I breath clear after working in the garage and I feel safer. Its comfortable to wear. Its easy to breath while wearing it. This mask is very durable. It gets thrown around the work shop stepped on and abused more than it should.
