Superb ,light ,easy to use, and assemble, excellent price
Well worth the price, there are no instructions for assembly,a Bosch manual, without assembly instructions ,but don't despair look at the pictures on the box,and the item ,it's pretty idiot proof.I'm 76 have arthiritis and apart from a fiddly grassbox, easy to assemble, only tool required screwdriver to tighten the nuts. Now the really positive things and their are many, cuts the lawn fantastically ,edges included, light to handle and manouvre, and the grass box is one of the best I've had ,it holds a large quantity of cuttings, far more than any mower I've had including the expensive ones.I'm very pleased with my new toy ,and because of its manouvreability it doesn't take long to cut the lawn....Happy Gardening

Solid little mower, easy to assemble, easy to use...great buy for the price!
UPDATE: After much use this summer already, only one flaw to note with this mower...occasionally the height adjustment mechanism/bar one of the rear wheels (both do it) will pop out of position and drop a notch...lowering the mowing height on that side. Not positive what causes it, but suspect bumpy ground combined with the grass catcher box getting full/heavier. Bosch definitely need to tighten up those springs, or implement a different height adjustment mechanism. Prior to purchasing I read several reviews that assembly was difficult, the grass catcher didn't fit, etc. I found neither to be the case. True, the assembly instructions are poor/non-existent, however, there's only a very few pieces to put together, and by looking at the picture on the box one can easily assemble the mower in about 10 minutes. The grass catcher box simply snaps together with tabs-and-slots, pretty easy. Once assembled the mower works like a champ. The attached cord is plenty long, and when combined with an extension I can reach my entire back and front garden from a single plug. The grass catcher works great, in fact I like it much better than previous bag catchers I've used over the years. Due to the smaller size of the deck I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for someone with a large garden of say a half acre or such, but for smaller to medium gardens, it fits the bill great. The best part...no filling with gas or running out and having to refill a hot mower, no checking the oil, no having to change sparks plugs or get tune-ups, no engine coughing or dying, no exhaust, and so much quieter. The smaller deck size means it takes a little longer to mow, but it also makes the mower light enough that I can literally mow the entire garden using only one arm...using the other to ensure the cord is held away. And it cuts great/even, is 3x height adjustable, and even being so small has tackled some taller grass well...just may need a couple passes. Very glad I purchased this mower...

Perfect for a small lawn
Perfect for my small lawn, it's lightweight and a breeze to use. So simple that trimming the lawn is a joy and not a mission!! Does the job and packs away in a small space. Very happy and would recommend!

Great mower
Bought this after years of getting second hand mowers. Great mower for the price, cuts really well, light weight to use. The grass box is a little flimsy but does the job. Picks up well, even on my lawn which is mossy and thick in some patches. No instructions on how to assemble, but it’s easy enough to look at the box. Like that you don’t have to take the wheels off to adjust the mowing length, simply push the wheels using the spring mechanism. All in all, happy with the purchase!

What a beast! Small but mighty.
Keep forgetting to mow the lawn and my old Flymo was awful at long grass Ended up mowing the power cord. This is cheap, small and light and it looks comically wee on even a small lawn. But set the axles to the highest setting and wow, it devours grass that would choke my old mower to thermal shutdown as soon as it touched it. Easy to empty, quick to cut, and it really does go up to walls and raised edges. What a mighty beast. Plus it costs less than some gardeners charge for a mow of a decent lawn. The light weight and easy manoeuvrability make up for the tiny cutting diameter. Delighted with it for the money.

Good little mower
I bought this as a stand in to my petrol mower as it needs the drive system replaced. I was really surprised at how well this little mower cut the lawns, it’s very light (which is what I required due to mobility issues). The height adjustment is achieved by turning the mower over and pulling the wheel axles to one of the three height locations. The only real problem I had was the fitting of the handle. There are pre-drilled holes in the bottom of the handle where it connects to the mower, however these holes were too small for the supplied screws (maybe I just got a Friday afternoon mower 😂). I eventually got one screw to got through, but the other I had to drill through the handle and “mower handle cup”and fit a nut and bolt. But besides the handle thing, it’s a good, very lightweight, small mower that collects the clippings. It would have been a 5 star if it wasn’t for the handle problem.

Spoiled by a rubbish grass box!
I needed a mower which could cut through long thick grass, and this does it with ease. It's easy to use and manoeuvre, and seems quite robust for the price. However, it is horrifically let down by the worst grass box I have ever come across. Firstly it seems rather small to go with a mower which is up for anything, and fills up very quickly. But it is the construction of the thing which is truly woeful - it appears to be made from the same plastic that milk bottles are made from and is very soft and bendy. It is easy to put together; if only it would stay together! The moment a handful of grass arrives in it which is slightly over its capacity, it splits in two, spilling the contents all over the lawn. No matter how many times I click the fasteners shut, it still pulls apart, even if it is only half full and I dare to use the top handle to carry it to the bin. It is not fit for purpose. I have superglued it shut - that didn't work. I think the next step is to use duct tape. Such a cheap and useless but vital accessory completely ruins a more than adequate mower. Sort it, Bosch!

Best of a very bad lot
If you're new to buying a lawn mower then it might help to know that, without exception, all mowers priced under around £400-£500 are rubbish. Not one of them is actually fit for purpose, and they certainly won't make mowing grass easy. They're underpowered, poorly designed, use cheap materials, and typically just stop working at the drop of a hat. Is the grass wet? Tough luck. Mower will jam. Is the grass long? Tough luck. Mower will jam. Bumpy lawn? Tough luck. Mower will jam. So, unless you want to spent that kind of money, it becomes a matter of finding the best of what are some awful products. This one is the best of a bad lot in my experience. You will always have to have it set to the highest mowing position because the other two mowing positions will jam the blade (unless you have a 100% perfectly flat lawn—and you do not, I promise). You'll need to make this adjustment immediately because, out of the box, the mower is set to the closest mowing position. Nope. Forget about that. And after this, it's just about functional. It will not cut out and overheat like other mowers in this price range (if it does, there's a 60 second time-out during which it will not work at all). It has a metal blade, too, which feels a safer bet than plastic blades used in other mowers. You also get a spare, which is weird because you can almost certainly just sharpen the existing one. In my garden the mower seemed to cope well with things like sticks, leaves, and other detritus that it ran over, too. Again, not all mowers will cope. The power ratings of these things are bunkum, by the way. Don't think it's best to go for the highest wattage you can afford. It's just a marketing trick. The grass box is reasonably copious, and the mower will pack the trimmings in there quite densely, so you're not always emptying it every few minutes. Removing it is slightly fiddly in that you have to manually ensure no trimmings leak out the back of the mower, and then you have to manoeuvre the box through the handlebars. But it seems to do its job, and not fall off during use – which again, is not guaranteed on mowers in this price range. Do I like this mower? No. It's cheap. The people who designed it want you to know that. presumably so you'll buy the most expensive models instead. It's annoying trying to turn it around when mowing up and down, for example, because its plastic wheels are more basic than those in a soapcar derby. But it works, and seems to work work consistently, and is not too annoying. And as I've said, with mowers at this price range, you can't take any of this for granted.
