The 11th Commandment: Wisdom from Our Children
Actual children's drawings are adorable. Great for sparking conversation with other children after studying the Ten Commandments. Would be of interest to Sunday School teachers, particularly second through fifth grade.

A Little Weird
It was ok. Some of the things in there I didn't even want my kids to read . . . about guns etc. Had I read this first I wouldn't have bought it.

Inappropriate content! Purchase with caution!
I would strongly recommend that people who intend to purchase this obtain a copy and look at every page before offering it to children. There are illustrations of people shooting each other in the text, and while that is certainly part of “Thou Shall Not Kill,” it should not be illustrated in a book for a child! I paged through it before handing it to my child from our church’s library, and I’m glad I didn’t let her see it. Given the gun violence in my community, my children don’t need a graphic reminder.

Amazing Book! I still can't stop thinking about it years later.
My favorite 11th Commandment is: "No Punching in the Head!" Clearly this person has a sibling who got physical when they were angry. I love this book. It is as funny as it is heartwarming. I think it is probably. more for adults than children, but it will be a treat for any guest who happens to pick it up from your coffee table. Highly Recommend.

Cute idea, but nothing too profound here.
I'd give this book about 3-1/2 stars. Some cute stuff came out of this project, but I didn't enjoy it as much as, say, Children's Letters to God. Might be something nice to share with children in the context of religious education, to generate discussion regarding moral and ethical behavior. I did really like that children made all the illustrations.
