A+ wi-fi card
This is a great upgrade I purchased myself over the old dual 2.4 / 5 gHz ASUS card I had. It seems very well built, much sturdier. I like that the cables are thicker and joined more solidly. The antenna is very nice and bigger so I assume its going to work better in tougher conditions. The reason for my upgrade was just that the old thin cables had been removed on the card end and they never worked as good when reattached. This card is very fast / efficient indeed, I am using it just for 5 gHz wi-fi 6 and it is so good that I get A+ scores when running the waveform bufferbloat test. I have my home network optimized with SQM so its as fast and latency free as possible, but still with the old ASUS card the wi-fi on the device that needs the wi-fi card was not able to get better than a C score. Waveform say to not test over wi-fi, but just as a slight indicator on how well the card runs, I like to test it anyway! So very impressed with this card, and hopefully many years of service to come from it. I have no use for bluetooth so cannot speak of that.

Great Product!
This was my first WiFi 6 device, and the only one for now, so I’m using it with other compatible non WiFi 6 devices, so that I can’t really comment on the WiFi 6 capabilities, but it looks like a great product, and performs well with non WiFi 6 devices. Both WiFi and Bluetooth drivers can be installed from the Windows 10 catalogs, so the supplied disc is not strictly required. I gave 4 stars for ease of installation because the Bluetooth module requires connecting to an internal USB port via a supplied cable. This may be an advantage or disadvantage depending on your use case. This means if you don’t have a free PCIe port but still have an internal USB port, you can use the device for Bluetooth functionality alone, without the WiFi function. Also, for some reason, the card didn’t align properly with both my motherboard and the casing at the same time, but this could be an issue with either my motherboard or casing, and YMMV. Haven’t truly tested the Bluetooth functionality yet, but the WiFi works great, both managed and ad-hoc, and backward compatible well with WiFi 5/ac at excellent speeds and signal strength/range. Others have noted that the supplied USB cable may not be long enough but was ok for my motherboard/configuration. The indicator LED is absent on this model. Seems like a great product, overall. Will update review once I get more WiFi 6 devices (Within the year, hopefully) to test the true power of this thing.

Great Item
The compatibly for our cpu was good. It was easy enough to install the drivers and fit it into the computer. The fit worked great. It helped the connectivity of the wifi Good durability as the plastic is decent quality.

Updated: Wifi 7 is a hot mess
Updated review: Let me start again with Wifi 7 is a hot mess. If you are not a techie, DO NOT get wifi 7 devices and routers because none of the features you pay extra for are on. Next, you will be wrestling and mcguyvering with tech like needing to install Windows 24H2 preview, updating drivers (even test versions like the unreleased 23.150.0 drivers), and repeatedly reconfiguring your router settings. I had to do that with my current gaming PC that had a mediatek chip (of course different drivers). It took me a while and did the same things for my home server which this PCIE card went to and it wouldn't go faster than 2k up / 2k down. Then I realized, what if I move the card to a full 16 lane pcie? I realize I had to move this card to a full PCIE lane that is DIRECTLY connected and lanes supplied by my E5 1660 V3 CPU. And with a TPM chip installed, I was left with only one lane really close to the GPU to install this. THAT WORKED. From then on, all the MLO features and the 320 Mhz bandwidth on 6 ghz was negotiated between this card and my BE700 router. The server is finally connected at 3.4k~3.8k down/ 2.4k~2.8k up Mbps. So in conclusion after all of this. Yes, this is a fast card. But you have to configure it correctly. TLDR: If you aren't getting fast WIFI 7 speeds after configuring everything correctly, move the card to a faster PCIE lane or a lane that is directly connected to your CPU. Older review: At its current state, Wifi 7 is a hot mess. This pcie card is bar none and ends up a glorified and more expensive Wifi 6e card. Neither MLO nor 320 Mhz feature work - both of which what separates Wifi 7 from Wifi 6e. I have a TPlink BE700 router that I was hoping I could rely on the either of the features to work as I need it for my SMB server. However, the max speeds it could achieve is ~2k down/~1.2k up Mbps which was essentially the same as a faulty Wifi 6e card I was replacing it with. Most stable is on 5 Ghz with 2k down/2k up. Compared to a built in wifi card in my Z790 board that has a MT7927 Mediatek card, that card can hit 4kdown/4k up Mbps. I've tried all fixes: update Windows to 24H2, updated to latest drivers downloaded from either Asus or intel (which this card holds an intel be200 inside), changed various channels, width, security or any and every router setting. None of this worked and my speeds are just the same as Wifi 6e. So do yourself a favor. As of July 2025, DO NOT BUY THIS WIFI 7 CARD. You're wasting money for a functionally Wifi 6e card. I'm contemplating whether or not to return it and wait it out. At least the connection is stable on either regular 6Ghz or MLO network, and whether the PC is in direct view or in the basement. I've also searched both on Google or through chatgpt if there are any confirmed cases that they have successfully used the MLO or 320 Mhz bandwidth feature. The speeds just do not aggregate and work together nor double which is supposedly what should be making Wifi 7 at least twice as fast theoretically. Ironically enough, my S24 Ultra can connect twice as fast than this wifi card because the phone has properly working Wifi 7.

Trusted Brand, Affordable, Reliable and Easy to Install
My experience with the Asus AX3000 PCE-AX58BT has been pretty positive so far. Installation was easy but one thing I noticed that a lot of people miss (based on what I have seen online and myself included). This PCIe Wi-Fi card can ONLY be installed on a PCIe x1 slot. I was thankfully able to get this working on a PCIe x4 slot but your mileage may vary. Aside from that just install the latest drivers from the Asus website and you're good to go. Performance on the wireless card has been very satisfying. This is thanks to those external antennas which are very useful! The speeds match those of when I am connected via Ethernet. Bluetooth connectivity is very solid. The moment my workstation turns on my bluetooth keyboard connects almost immediately! No issues whatsoever. There are many cards out there but in the end I wanted to go with a trusted brand like Asus.

Is this for you? Well, if you game, you should always try to use ethernet, and failing that, you should probably do powerline adapters. For gaming you don't need fast upload and download, you need reliability. Wireless has a tendency to drop out, regardless of the router you have or the card you have installed. Reviews that mention "drop of signal" aren't to be relied upon as there are too many variables to simply point the finger at any one device as the culprit. If you just want wireless for one of the myraid of good reasons (flexibility, portability, simplicity, alternative, etc.) then this is an excellent device. It is a PCIe card with (two choices of) antenna and an m.2 slot for a WiFi card. The Wifi card that comes installed with it is an Intel AX200NGW. This is a good WiFi card that meets WiFi 6 specifications and Bluetooth 5.0 It also means that you can upgrade the card with a different m.2 WiFi card as time goes on but keep the PCIe card and antenna. You will need a free USB header on your motherboard for this, it comes with the cable you need but you should check for a free header (you very likely have an unused one). I've found this reliable, fast and easy to install. Drivers were automatically installed for me with Windows 10 - your experience may differ. 5 stars.
