Working Fine!
I already have ideal closers and figured since I like their products I should order from them. I must say I made a good decision since there are so many different types of these out there and a little hard to find an aluminum color! Anyway it is installed and working just dandy. I didn't need the fancy hold door open pushing a release button,etc. the old manual hold button has worked all my life on these so don't need any problems added.

Look for the screw to adjust spring tension.
Well, I'm not certain how you can go wrong on a black standard door closer but I did! The one we received is perfectly fine, it's just user error. I removed our last one and as I did so I noticed The screw at the right hand side of the closer and realized that is used for the spring tension. If I had just noticed that when I was having a problem with the door slamming in my face, I wouldn't have needed to buy a new one. That being said and investment already made, I decided to put the new one up just so I didn't have to mess around with the spring tension. Works like a charm.

Made in Taiwan. Seems to be good quality unlike some China stuff. Easy to install with good instructions provided and all necessary hardware in the box.
