Reliable and Easy-to-Use Wood Filler
This filler has been a fantastic addition to my DIY toolkit. This 16-ounce tub of natural wood filler is perfect for a variety of wood repair projects. The consistency is smooth and easy to apply, allowing for seamless filling of cracks, holes, and imperfections in wood surfaces. One of the things I appreciate most is how well it blends with natural wood. Once sanded and stained or painted, the repairs are virtually invisible, giving a professional finish to my projects. The filler dries quickly and hardens well, providing a durable repair that can withstand further sanding and finishing. The only minor downside is that it can dry out if the lid is not sealed properly, so be sure to close it tightly after each use to maintain its usability. I believe this is a reliable and high-quality product that every DIYer should have. Its ease of use, excellent blending properties, and durability make it a top choice for wood repairs. Highly recommended for anyone looking to achieve professional results in their woodworking projects.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – Super Easy to Use and Works Great!
I recently used Gorilla All Purpose Wood Filler for a few projects around the house, and I’m really impressed. I’m not a professional—just a regular person fixing up some dings, holes, and cracks in furniture and trim—and this stuff made the job way easier than I expected. The wood filler is smooth and easy to apply, kind of like thick peanut butter, but it spreads nicely and stays in place. It dries fast, which I loved because I didn’t have to wait all day to sand or paint over it. Once it dried, it was hard and solid, not crumbly or flaky like some others I’ve tried before. I also liked that it didn’t shrink or crack after drying, even on slightly deeper spots. And it took paint and stain really well—it blended right in with the rest of the wood. One tip: don’t leave the lid open too long, or it can dry out a little bit. Just close it tight when you’re done and it should last a while. Whether you’re patching nail holes, fixing furniture, or touching up trim, this is a great product for beginners and DIYers. Highly recommend!

Great option for patching small holes
I used this to patch up our hardwood floors before we refinished them, and overall it worked pretty well for my purposes. It's better suited for smaller holes like nails or stapes, rather than patching big holes or gouges. While it does stain, it's definitely not invisible in the larger patches which is why I took off a star. It was smooth and easy to work with, sanded down great, and did a good job overall. I didn't notice any terrible fumes when I was working with it. Great value for the amount of product and for the final look imo

Unforgiving and gritty, but well worth the effort
Gorilla wood filler is a dry, crumbly substance that does not spread easily. I rolled it into small balls, and forced it in the exposed joints in the stairwell. Given some time, the product dries rock hard and can certainly be drilled and used to mechanically anchor whatever is needed. After using medium grit sandpaper, and cleaning off the dust, I refilled the seams with a soft putty filler and the joints are nearly invisible. Gorilla wood filler requires some work and will not give a smooth slick finish until it is sanded and painted or stained. If you are after a long term, near permanent fix, this is the stuff to use.

Smooth Application, Reliable Finish
Smooth Application, Reliable Finish I used this Gorilla all-purpose wood filler on a few projects recently, including patching some nail holes in trim and filling a small gouge in an outdoor bench, and it performed really well. The texture is smooth, easy to apply, and doesn’t clump or dry too fast, so I had plenty of working time to get a clean surface. Once dried, it sanded down evenly without crumbling, which made it simple to blend with the surrounding wood. The natural finish is a big plus—it’s close to a neutral wood tone, which makes it easier to stain or paint over without odd color bleed-through. I also like that it’s water resistant, so I feel confident using it on outdoor projects like the bench and fence posts. So far, it’s held up well against a couple of summer rainstorms without cracking or softening. The only thing to keep in mind is that like most fillers, you need to slightly overfill the gap since it shrinks a touch as it dries. If you sand too aggressively, you’ll end up with a shallow patch and may need to reapply. Bottom line: A versatile, reliable wood filler that applies easily, sands smooth, and works both indoors and outdoors—definitely a handy tub to keep around for repairs and DIY projects.

Works but a bit too dry
Seems a bit too dry. IDK what I can add to make it softer.

Not easy to work with
This wood filler seems to be working in an outside application but it’s kind of hard to work with. It seems a little dry in the tub and the directions say to kneed it before use. Well it doesn’t kneed very well and when you go to apply it, the product wants to roll back on itself. It helps if to wet the putty knife but it still seems to be chunky or something. The main problem I find is it seems to contain actual bits of wood pulp or something that prevents it from spreading easily. It does sand beautifully though and feathers very easy. After applying I primed and painted it. Theres a lot of waste when using this wood filler unless all you’re using it for is to fill nail holes in which case it works great. Time will tell if it holds up to the outdoor conditions.

Great product
This stuff is great! Floors were redone and wife wanted new baseboards and I wanted something better than caulk for nail holes. It is a bit messy but I took a shop vac along the way and it picks it right up! Feels like thick drywall mud but easy to work with!

Once I figured out how to properly apply the filler (I used small hobby sticks to forcibly push the filler into cracks and joints), this product, once dried, worked well with the sanding and shaping of my plywood projects. Definitely worth the money.
