I grow a almost all of our veggies and herbs indoors year around and use a couple of different fertilizers depending on the needs of the plants I grow. Cal-Mag Extreme is not a fertilizer per se, but helps to supply nutrients many plants require that most fertilizers do not supply. This fertilizer supplement is particularly useful for tomatoes, bell peppers and other that require additional calcium and magnesium to prevent blossom rot and also a number of other nutrients often not supplied in many fertilizers. This additive helps plants to absorb more of the nutrients already in the soil and also nutrients added with other fertilizers. For my indoor plants, I use 4cc's per gallon of water in addition to my regular fertilizer, and I seldom see blossom rot in my tomatoes. I also use this supplement for some of my other plants to help with absorption of nutrients in the soil. I bought the gallon size when it was available which will last for a very long time. I would definitely recommend this supplement for any plants that need a boost in calcium, magnesium and other nutrients not supplied by conventional fertilizers. My orchids love this stuff. Noticed a huge difference in root growth after I started using it. I water lightly with it twice weekly and have had great results. I grow in lava rock so this has been a game changer. Thank you!

this stuff is amazing. A little bit goes a long way and it does save money because you're not paying for water. I use it on my indoor medical plants and in my vegetable garden and raised beds it gives me amazing results whether growing tomatoes, peppers, and pretty much everything in between.

Seems to be a good product only issues. It was like one giant chunk versus powder.

Great for the much needed calcium your plants need

My biggest issue with container plants has been bottom end rot (tomatoes and peppers). Since I've started using this supplement, I have far fewer issues. The only downside is that I cannot find any recommendations as to how much of this product should be used. I've been "eye-balling" the dosage over the season, but a few ounces each week per 5 - 10 gallons of water each week seems to work well. From my understanding, it's hard to overdose on this supplement. I just hate the thought of using more than needed, and wasting $$$.

I grow orchids in my hobby greenhouse attached to my open plan living area. Greenhouse was built in 1979 with a row of pine trees 20m feet away. The pine trees grew, and grew. (We don't own the pines.) The orchids were hit and miss. Miss being the issue since 1990. I bought Cal Mag because of an article in American Orchid Society's monthly magazine advising me to check my fertilizer for these two prime ingredients. Amazon came to the rescue with Cal-Mag Extreme. Now all varieties of orchids are blooming for the first time since purchasing from very reputable growers. Each month I am amazed with the success I am experiencing because of this wonderful Cal-Mag! The difference is amazing. I put "a bit (poring) in a spray bottle with water and feed sometimes daily. My results are totally unexpected but fully appreciated!!!
