I am a mechanical engineer by profession so tend to research a product drilling down into the quality of the item before I buy. Nice brass end cap supplied with olive. Very easy to fit, make sure you use thread compound and you will be left with a water tight connection first time. Good value, top quality and an easy recommendation for me to make. Buy!

Following a burst water pipe in my loft, I decided to get the necessary supplies to fix (or at least stop) any more leaks. I haven't used these yet as they will be for the next emergency, but I can say they appear to be very robust and for only £6.99, they are great value. Probably would be 5-stars if I'd used them! I'm not a plumber, but I'm confident I can fit these well enough to reduce (if not stop) a leak until a professional plumber can get here to fix things properly! Ignore the references to this item being 10mm connectors in the description, I think a lot of the text was just copy/pasted from other products they also sell (presumably 10mm).

Well made and packaged, just what you need to blank off 10mm pipe. I used it on LPG copper pipe.
