Zeckos Set of 10 Hand Carved Tropical Island Style Tiki Masks 12 Inch

I was looking for three 36 inch tiki masks for the tiki bar I built but could only find 12, 20, or 39 inch masks. This set of 10 allowed me to stack 3 masks on top of each other and mount (gorilla glue and nail gun) to the bar posts on the left, middle, and right (1 left over). I was a little concerned about the nails cracking the wood because the tiki masks are so light (they are not heavy solid wood). I was happy not a single crack. I did apply a clear protective coat to the masks being that they are outdoors. The masks look wonderful. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

These were so nice that I changed the location to a more prominent wall. They were easy to hang.

We built a tiki bar, and are always looking for new things to decorate it. We wanted a big tiki totem, but those things are expensive, so I got these and nailed them to board to make what looks like a big totem pole. The quality is good, they look nice, and easy to hang and as I said much cheaper than a real totem pole. We liked these so much we got a second set to hang the individual masks throughout the bar area, and got another set for my brother who is also building a tiki bar.

Overall pleased with the masks, got one with only the tongue painted but will give us an op to personalize it. Can't beat the price, will look awesome around the beams in my new tiki hut. Bought 10 more from the non prime site and will upload pics when received next week. Will prob hit them up with some clear coat spray paint before I mount them outside under the tiki roof. Likely better to toenail them for mounting vs. the hanging string given my application.

These masks are fine for the price, but their less-than-inspiring level of quality is more apparent when you take them out of the box than is indicated by the pictures. Everything about them is more uneven than I expected, from the size to the paint job to the placement of the little string hangers on the back. I can also confirm, as careful scrutiny of the pictures shows, that I received seven unique masks and three exact duplicates. And some of the "uniques" were duplicate designs just painted different colors. I bought these to hang high on a wall at ceiling level, and with the benefit of shadow they will serve just fine for that purpose. They would not fare as well exhibited at eye level in ample light.
