Good quality...other brands dont hold up as well

This is a well designed and heavy set of 0.498 shank bits, they appear to be made of durable and hardened steel. It is commonly purchased with a long stroke air hammer such as the Astro 4980. One thing you don't want to overlook is that the chisel in this set has an unusual shaft design, to prevent it from rotating inside the chuck. With a chisel that's a good thing, but note that the stock retaining spring on Big Nasty (Astro 4980 air hammer) doesn't fit that style of bit. So either get the optional quick change retainer or consider a different set of bits. I wish the 0.498 shank bits were more readily available, especially in the long 18" size (hammer and chisel). Auto technicians use those long sizes all the time.

Cutting chisel I broke after two weeks. Totally disappointed! Other two still doing good!

Yup, fits the big boy air hammer. Blunt ends work just fine. The chisel is a bit blunt, but that's probably to prevent chipping. It makes short work of old GM frame hot rivets. Wish there were more options with this shank size, specifically a punch, a V chisel, a sheet metal cutter..... I'll have to buy another air hammer for those I guess.
