One word : TEENAGERS. My oldest teen was starting to fall behind in school. He was also breaking curfew, sneaking around and being an all around total a**hole. What was it that had changed my sweet loving boy for a smug, irritable and withdrawn know-it-all? I had to find out... It wasn't hard to trick him into taking the test... I simply gave him a 6 pack of mountain dew code red and a bag of flaming hot cheetos. I rented him a new xbox game, left an empty big gulp cup up in his room with him, and simply let nature take its course. Some hours later, around 1am, I went up to offer more snacks and drinks. I made sure to offer to remove any trash, being sure to take the (formerly) empty big gulp cup (which was now halfway full, just as expected). Once downstairs, I went to work. Carefully using the sample collected via the big gulp cup, I filled the specimen cup and waited. Much like waiting for the pregnancy test results weeks after his father and I had accidentally conceived him, minutes felt like hours... Finally, the timer sounded and time was up. Anxiously, I peeled away the covering on the results window. And once again, much like those fateful pregnancy test results, I was SHOCKED... The results were negative, right across the board. My husband and I looked at each other with our eyes wide. We immediately feared the worst. Years earlier, we had lost this boy in the forest during a hike. After two days of searching, we finally found him crouched in a hole in the trunk of a tree, nude and crying. We noticed then that his eyes had changed color, but at the time we thought nothing of it. After time, we pushed the memory out of our mind and life went back to normal. Until that moment. It wasn't drugs. The realization came to us both simultaneously. What we had both silently, secretly feared alllllll these years was true. Our son was a changeling. Worked great. Tested myself before a drug test and it was accurate. You pay exra for the cup but it's worth it in my opinion I don't want to be messing around with urine and separate containers and strips. Less room for mistakes and cross contamination
