I’m a new home builder. I have installed thousands of recess lights in new homes, with very little issues. These lights are junk! They won’t all connect to WiFi as they should, even when you get them all to light, the moment you shut them off and back on, they start blinking again. I have emailed customer service three times with Zero response. I now have to replace 71 lights with something else. Very disappointed.

Works very well for our glass shelf lights. there are so many light combinations and I am really loving being able to change my color mood din an instant. The lights are perfectly bright. I cannot speak to their longevity yet.

I bought two other sets of lights before purchasing these. I really didn't need smart recessed lights or color changing ones. But I needed a specific color temperature to match the rest of my house. After two other Brandes were not suitable I purchased these knowing I could color match them exactly how I needed them. I mainly keep them on soft white but occasionally I do play around with the multiple colors. The colors aren't very vibrant or accurate and specially if you use alexa or home assistant to change them. But as I say I only needed mostly so if I do change the color I typically go into the smart life app and adjust them as close as I can, but it will never exact. Also when pairing them I found it best to pair one light at a time otherwise you will get through two or three paired and unable to pair the last 2 or 3. After multiple attempts I unplugged all of them except one and paired it. Once it was paired I unplugged it and plugged in the next, rinse and repeat. Once the last one has been paired I plugged them all in at once. Reason for unplugging and plugging them is bc I had them on the same circuit and if you run the pairing mode even if it's already paired it will reset the lights hence the reason for pairing them individually. Once you jave them paired make a group in the smart light app in order to control them in sync colors, on, of as well automations in your smart home environment. I have had them for a few months now and they havent disconnected yet. I have also experienced an eletrical outage where the power flickered and if you know anything about smart home devices you know a sudden on and offs during a power outage will disconnect poorly engineered devices, not saying these are great but they are not bad for what they are. One last thing in regards to installation not use the connectors that come with it. I don't know if they are good or bad but logic just told me to use good old tried and true wire nuts. Hoped i covered everything and this helps and enjoy.
