After moving from a big house to a small apartment, my every day life got really messy. I spent a lot of time looking for storage items that served multiple purposes... ie. storage boxes that were decorative and could be DISPLAYED (instead of thrown in a closet), a sofa table that held lamps and speakers AND had drawers.. etc. But none of those things could fit bigger items like my boxing gloves, lawn chairs, house cleaners. Then I discovered the storage bench. There are SO many of these options all over the web and can very easily be $$$$. Water proof, water resistant, plastic makes it look ugly, needs to be treated, weight limitations etc etc. I chose this one because it fit my budget and did not appear to be super ugly. My only concern was that it would look too plastic-y thus look CHEAP. Low and behold, it doesn't. But note, I am also not a fancy-pants decorator. This sits out on my patio and is very visible from my living / dining room / kitchen but looks pleasant and nice. I keep it relatively clean so it stays in excellent condition. I love that it holds so much stuff and I can comfortably sit on it with my dog without worrying I'll break the darn thing. Also, the lock option is great. I don't use it regularly but I like the option. Only small drawbacks are... - assembly. It was difficult for me to piece it all together alone as the parts were fairly large and awkward to move around. One part was half-way assembled incorrectly which meant I had to grunt and sweat to UNdo it, then redo it the right way. - bottom. The bottom of this bench that all my crap sits on feels like just sturdy cardboard with not much support under it. Thus there is no way I would attempt to move this bench unless it was empty. Also, I am careful with what items I toss in there as I don't want to damage it.

This bench was more than I expected. It was quite easy to set up and is sturdier than expected. My Dad and I are both 200 lb. and we sat down together and leaned against the back with no problem. I couldn't picture how much 70 gallon capacity would hold. However, I put in 2 folding chairs & table, small toolbox, dog dummies, sprinkler, kneeling pad, etc and it isn't even half full. It really cleaned up my patio and allowed me to keep some things handy that I used to go inside to get. I was concerned about how water-proof it will be, and it hasn't rained in the week since I got the bench. There is a channel beneath the back seat hinge that should capture water, but I'm not sure where that will drain when full (maybe I'll put the hose to it and find out). If there is a weakness it may be the floor. It is a corrugated plastic which sits off the ground about 1/2". I may put a thin board underneath it for added support. The floor was the only difficult part to install. I could have used a second person for that. I had one small part arrive defective ( a foot cap) and the company immediately sent out a replacement. After considering many different patio storage options, I am most satisfied with this choice. It has plenty of room, is functional as a bench and looks nice.

I was in need of a small storage box to keep out by my garden. This seemed like a better solution since it would also provide additional seating which was also needed. It came in very quick and I had a great day to assemble it. It took about 30 minutes and the instructions were pretty clear. I did have the steel frame backwards once but no big deal to flip it around. I highly suggest laying out everything before you start to put it together. A few of the other reviews mentioned missing parts, so be sure everything is there first. My career has been heavily in the Plastics Industry so the first thing I noticed was the lack of tool maintenance. I suggest you have a flash scrapper handy. If you don’t have one a box cutter will do but be careful not to cut too much. See the pictures for the excessive flash. This will keep the parts from snapping together nice and flush. The holes on mine were almost all flashed completely over. The screws will easily drive through but, again a little cleaning of the flash helps the appearance See in one of the pictures attached. The finished bench is very nice and can hold a lot. I am not sure how it will do over time. It would be a great improvement if one of the steel frames were placed across the underside of the bench. Note: I may add that myself if I feel it starts to weaken in the future. The best part is that it is made of Polypropylene which is naturally UV stabile to an extent. This type of product should have additional UV additive to extend it, I am not sure that it does. Just in case I am using it in a semi-shady area. Pros: Nice Design overall. Excellent storage (Mine has gone through intense storms and everything inside stays dry. Looks fantastic. Easy to assemble. Cons: The original wood grain is washed out and the tool has not be maintained. The flash from the parting lines is very poor and needs to be trimmed to successfully assemble. Bottom line. I would buy another one if I need to.

I want to give five stars because everything about the bench is great: It looks nice in our covered porch, it assembles easily, and has good storage. BUT... the bench seat is VERY flexible. My wife and I have a combined weight of 300 lbs and with the two of us sitting, this thing starts flexing and buckling to the point of popping out one of the rear hinge points. Even just one of us sitting on it brings an immediate wide eyed look of concern with the sensation of the seat flexing downward and popping about. This newly assembled bench is the strongest it will ever be. Time and weather will only weaken it. I'm incredibly worried that this will start to fail sooner rather than later. I'm almost certain that I will end up having to engineer a solution. Knowing what I know now about this bench, I would pass and look for something better. May 6 2021: moved to 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 The bench has performed incredibly well. No flexing or brittle chipping. Yes, get it. It is a great value and nice quality.

I love this bench. I'm a 66 year old woman, strong but not very fit, and I put this together by myself in about an hour and a half on a warm humid day. I love the instructions, they're very easy to follow and friends rave about my pretty and useful bench that seats two sizable adults comfortably. I didn't realise this, but my sister has had a Keter shed for several years and it has withstood very cold Canadian winters when it's been totally buried in snow. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another Keter product.

We have had this bench/bin for three years now. It is still 100% waterproof. The color has not changed although the first two years we had a tarp on it. Not anymore, and it still keep its original color.

Very good quality and sturdy. Easy to build and it holds so much! We have stored most of the beach toys in it and chairs, inflatable SUP, and more. Highly recommend. Looks wonderful and comfortable to sit on. 2 adults sat on it and average build. No sagging, held up, and love this. Colour was perfect too and matched the deck box perfectly. Perfect for the beach house.

Buen material y muy fácil de armar. Si viene con algunas rebabas como se menciona en los comentarios pero son fáciles de quitar. La entrega fue en menos de 15 días. :)

Excellent item . Flat pack had good instructions but it is essential to follow them in the right order. Once the joints are slotted in they are difficult to release ( almost impossible. )
