I used this voltage power converter on a 4 week trip to Europe. I used it in Iceland, Denmark and Germany. It worked great for all of our 110v US electronics. It powered up a curling iron in the outlet port and at the same time, it also charged 2 mobile phones, an ipad, and a power brick via the USB ports. It charged everything quickly and we didn't have to worry about devices overcharging or things overheating. The red/green light indicator is great so you know whether your device is charging or powering up correctly. I've also used this on a cruise ship. It's great because all cruise lines forbid surge protectors on board. Most power strips these days have built in surge protectors whether you want it or not. We were able to use this converter as a big power strip on the ship! The best part is that most cruise ship cabins have 2 US 110v outlets and 2 European 220v outlets. We were able to plug this into the European outlet which gave us more US 110v outlets for all our devices. YAY! There is a small fan inside the converter that runs when it's in use. It was so quiet that it just faded into the background like white noise. If nothing is being charged, you simple unplug the converter or turn the power switch to the off position. The entire unit comes in a small mesh bag to keep the unit, plugs, and power cord organized. It found it a bit heavy to lug around in a carry on bag for a day of airline travel, so I put it in my checked bag. UPDATE: 5 years after purchase and 2 years of not being used due to the pandemic, this device stopped working properly. The fan started making a high pitched sound that was so loud you couldn’t carry on a conversation.

I bought this converter set prior to my trip to Nigeria but as you can see it has the adapters for a wide range of different countries. It worked perfectly and it was better than having just the one attachment for one item by having it be an extension cord I was able to add multiple 110 volt us items and simultaneously charge or use those items. I highly recommend

Works great

These converters are good. We use them to convert down 220v to 110v since we moved to Germany and some of our tv and hair dryers are american. The issue that we noticed is that it works well we low power appliances but something like vacuum doesn't work. Its not powerful enough to convert that much electricity i guess. It comes with a nice bag and other adapter plugs for ease but we dont use those. I guess we can take our self converting phones and laptops etc and use these adapters.

EDIT: Seller refunded me after seeing my review. I appreciate the time they took to email me and ask more specifics about how the product didn't meet my expectations. We just returned from a 2 week trip to New Zealand. I specifically bought this product as it advertised being able to use in NZ and being able to convert the voltage so I could use my curling iron. Thought it was able to be used for electronics such as hearing aid charger and phone chargers, it did NOT work for my curling iron. It continually tripped the converter switch. The one time I got it going for a few sections, it heated so quickly I thought I'd either break the curler, the voltage converter, or damage the lodge's electrical system so I quickly turned it off and did not use the curler for the entire trip (it was a bad hair day for 2 weeks!). Too late to return of course. I didn't mind the price if it has worked, but there were cheaper adapters that would have worked fine without the converter (in fact, i also had two of those for by the bedsides and they did work fine). Disappointed.

I bought this for my trip to Asia. One month in and it stopped working in Vietnam. The lights on the device went from Green to red leaving me scrambling to find a replacement for the remaining time I will be in Vietnam and Thailand.

This converter/charger was a godsend on our travels! My children and I traveled for 2 months throughout Africa and Europe. The multiple outlets allow you to charge multiple devices at once like phones and tablets. I did notice that it would heat up when using or charging higher voltage items like a laptop or hair straightener. We would unplug all other devices while using it to power a higher voltage device like that and it worked just fine with no issues. I had read some reviews that it died early on but we put it through the ringer with constant use and found it to be incredibly durable. The travel bag and multiple adapters make this a practical and versatile choice when traveling to a variety of countries. It was lightweight and easy to carry. Highly recommend!

Used it on my trip to Senegal and The Gambia. They use different setups so this worked well. A bit cumbersome but factoring everything, a solid purchase.

EXCELENTE PRODUCTO me sirvio en mi viaje a Europa, es una maravilla ya que pude usar sin problema mi plancha CHI digital 410°F, conectaba 3 celulares iphone y un power bank definitivamente vale la pena comprarlo es de gran utilidad y adicional tiene enchufes por lo que si no se conectaba el cargador para iphone lo podiamos conectar directo de la LUz con el enchufe ya que ese no necesitaba transformador de energia, la idea principal fue para utilizar con confianza mi plancha de cabello!! estuve Feliz todo el viaje con mi convertidor de energia.
