Holy hella KA-POW! This thig pops carpenter bees, and everything else, like popcorn. The trick is to hold the button to charge up the capacitors and then swing. The longer you hold, the more it's gonna zap those flying demons back to the 7th level from which they came. My only wish, is that the body of the 'racquet' was more solid. It's not flimsy; but it is plastic, so there is a slight wiggle. When sending the carpenter bees to the moon, I fear it may break-- it doesn't, but it's my fear. If it does, I'm buying another one anyways. I give The Executioner 5 Carpenter Bees.

it’s a little fragile gotta be careful not to hit anything with it. zaps flying insects really well. It’ll only stun a fly. You need to get it again when it’s on the ground or it’ll fly away in a few minutes, but mosquitoes and gnats what they just explode when he zap them good stuff.

I actually bought two of these. They create a decent blue spark but it is slightly less impressive than the spark from the Black Flag zappers. The lack of a safety screen makes them much easier to clean (and probably no less safe) than most zappers. Let's be honest, you're drooling over this because of the American flag on it. I don't blame you. It is definitely the most aesthetically pleasing zapper that I have ever seen. My biggest complaint is that the paint job is a little sloppy on both of the rackets that I bought and one arrived with a very small crack in the plastic. A little quality control would be nice when you are paying that much for a bug zapper. I still really like it though. It is undoubtedly a sweet looking zapper and it performs pretty well too. Make our forefathers proud by ordering one of these sick zappers. Go team USA!
