A complete guide to Marketing Analytics using Machine Learning models in Python.
This is one of the best books I have read when it comes to Marketing Analytics. The author assumes the reader does not know any python and starts from the basics of Pandas. Being someone from the industry, even I found a few A-Ha! moments. Along the way of teaching pandas, the author explains a few machine learning/ data science, marketing concepts and industry standards and best practices. By chapter 3, the reader can be well-versed with Pandas and basic visualizations as the reader takes their first steps into running machine learning models, starting with K-means clusters. Every chapter starts off with a new dataset with a follow along end-to-end code, taking the reader from cleaning the data, all the way to making sense of the analysis. Then the reader is given challenges based on what they learned in that chapter, following with solutions. This is a brilliant approach to make the reader fully grasp on what they learned. A must-have for novice to intermediate data scientists irrespective of whether in the marketing department or not.
