Nice unit - Timer needs improving, but otherwise good.
The item is okay, it looks as I was expecting it to look, and is approx. the size I was expecting. As others have mentioned already the timer function isn't very accurate. The lowest I am able to set the timer is 2m 52s-2m55s (with the unit on 1 minute timer) and have not had the need or the patience to check how long the '10 minute' setting actually takes to time-out. Either way, it is NOT a 'precision engineered' sensor. Other than that, I am happy with the unit, and the PIR seems to have a decent range and picked me up whenever I was expecting it to, so can't complain.

Absolutely great
I used this for a small 12VDC off-grid system. I wired up about 9m of LED strip lighting to the 12V supply through a 10A fuse and then to the dimmer switch. The positive terminal is PWM-modified, while the negative terminal is common to the source and the sink. The terminals are high quality, with either Phillips or flat screwdriver accepted. There is no terminal torque specification so I torqued to 0.7 nM. I used 2.5mm^2 bootlace ferrules on my wiring. When fully bright my LED lighting pulls about 5.25A. All of this went without any hiccup and my only headache was routing the cabling.

Looks great but problematic operation
Rubbish, worked for six hours then started alarming every few minutes or so from the inside of a cupboard - be warned

Works well
This works well, dimming my motorhome ambient lights which are too bright and take nearly 5A. With this dimmer, the lights are much better and much more efficient. I didn't use the facia plate as I made my own custom one

Good enough for the price
Ordered on 9th Dec, arrived 22nd Dec. Electrically, the centre two connectors are joined internal, and when the device activates it connects the outer two connectors together. The photos show it wired with positive input on the more central connector and the negative input on the edge, which means if you're using it to switch other electronics you'll have to wire it to switch the negative through. It seems to work fine like that though. If you wire it up in reverse it switches the output on all of the time (never goes off). The motion detector is sensitive (can't creep up on it). When power is first applied it activates then switches off if no movement. With the timer turned all the way to minimum it stays on for 90 seconds, not 1 minute as stated. [Edit] Adding that as it's 12V you might be on batteries: with a supply of 12.6V the control circuitry draws 2.5mA when no movement detected and 2.6mA when activated (tested with nothing connected to the output terminals).
