What are the fillers

Dextrose has a glycemic index of 100 which is twice as much as real sugar. It is a horrible filler for Stevia, because Stevia is excellent in its pure form as a true sugar substitute. I do not recommend this product at all...especially not for diabetics.

Why is Destrose (sugar!) falsely represented as stevia?

Simplest answer....... greed! Pure stevia is more expensive. What you are looking at is  deceptive advertising aimed at fooling you into thinking you are getting the real thing when it's just another garbage product. Real Stevia   has nothing added! I get mine 8 oz. at a time as a powder. I purchased special measuring spoons for it. The reason..... with the pure stuff, you need very little to get the sweetness. They measure tad, dash, pinch, smidgen and drop.It takes a drop to sweeten 12 oz. cup of coffee and the tad measure is enough to  sweeten 3 quarts of iced tea. If you try to measure by packets, a drop is the same sweetness as a packet. It may seem more expensive when you look at prices but it's actually not. The powder goes way, way further than the packets. In addition, it is ideal for diabetics as it actually helps the  body recognize it's own insulin. Sweetness without the sugar spike? Buy the "Pure" stuff , get the measuring spoons and you will be much happier in the long run. My 8 oz. package of powder has lasted a year and I'm not out yet.

This product has dextrose and maltodextrin both are gmo. why is the label "raw " in this product? deceptive labeling.

And Maltodextrin is higher on the glycemic index scale than table sugar. So they are lying when they say it is low glycemic. Stevia is but not maltodextrin. And dextrose is just another name for sugar.

It not only has dextrose, that is the first listed ingredient. Which I believe means it has more dextrose than stevia.  If you are concerned about high blood sugar, do some research on this.
