The "Spider-Man" trilogy features the three critically- acclaimed "Spider-Man" films directed by Sam Raimi. Follow Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) in these three adventures as he swings into action fighting super-villains Green Goblin, Doc Ock, Sandman and Venom and wins the heart of Mary Jane (Kirsten Dunst). Review: Spider-Man - Very nice. Review: Strong looking 4K’s but lacking extended version pf #2 and no special features. - The first three films done by Sam Raimi reintroducing Spider-man to theaters (after the aborted 1970’s TV series) arrive on excellent looking 4K’s. The problem is that Sony has made these bare bones not including the spandex version of the second film (that’s just goofy Sony) and no special features. Granted, it’s the movies that are rhe main focus here but not including any alternate cuts in this set is a mistake IMHO. Included are the three films starring Toby McGuire as Peter Parker/Spidey. The first details how Spidey got his powers, his first show down with the major villain The Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe). The second focuses on Spidey’s foe Doc Oct (Alfred Molina) who, at first, begins as a scientist hoping to provide the world with limitless power to the world that’s clean. Oct loses control during the experiment and becomes a villain as a result. The third (and worst) has Spidey face-off against Sandman and Venom. It’s a film that loses its footing midway through and is overstuffed with too many villains for its own good. The 4K transfers look excellent with improved derail, sharpness and depth. Colors pop and the audio is exceptional as well. We get subtitles for the set. Housed in a black Amray box with three discs (but four slots oddly enough which implies that the extended version WAS going to be offered).

Most extensive Raimi Spider-Man set available..
I bought the single 4k transfers of the Raimi Spider-Man films locally, expecting to at least get some extra footage and commentary.. But was dissapointed when there weren't any. So i returned the 3 discs and found that the region A set had the best value for money. For about the same amount as the three single releases i would receive all 3 films in both 4k and FHD, with all available extra's on 7 discs. It took about a week from the US to The Netherlands. While i expected the set to be with English subs at the most, i was surprised that both the 4k as the FHD features were with Dutch subs. The 4k discs were exactly identical as the 3 i returned. So for the same amount of money i had a much better deal. Even some of the extra's were with Dutch subs. (Maybe all, i didn't bother to check after a while as my player made it a drag..) I was impressed with the transfers, good color, contrast, sharpness and clarity. Especially for films of almost 15-20 years old, that weren't supposed to be shown or filmed in this high resolution. Yes, the first 2 seem a bit more grainy, but Spider-Man 3 really improved from the transfer. Except for the story.. I decided to replace my old DVD's with this and i couldn't be happier. Now waiting for Now Way Home. Hopefully there or in a rumoured 4th Spider-Man from Raimi the story gets properly concluded? Watching them reminded me of how much better the actual stories where compared to Amazing or the MCU itteration.

Swing into Action with the Spider-Man Trilogy in Stunning 4K!
As a lifelong Spider-Man fan, I was beyond excited to see the original trilogy get the 4K treatment, and I'm happy to report that it was well worth the wait! This set includes all three films, "Spider-Man" (2002), "Spider-Man 2" (2004), and "Spider-Man 3" (2007), each with stunning 4K visuals that bring the web-slinging action to life like never before. One of the things that really impressed me about this set is how well the films hold up after all these years. While the visual effects may look a little dated by today's standards, the storytelling and character development are still top-notch. Tobey Maguire is the perfect Peter Parker, bringing just the right mix of nerdy charm and heroic determination to the role. Kirsten Dunst is a great Mary Jane, and the chemistry between her and Maguire is undeniable. And of course, who could forget Willem Dafoe's iconic turn as the Green Goblin? But what really sets this set apart is the stunning 4K visuals. The detail and clarity are absolutely breathtaking, especially in the action scenes. Watching Spider-Man swing through the city, battling villains and saving lives, is truly a sight to behold. And with the high dynamic range (HDR) and Dolby Atmos sound, the experience is even more immersive. In addition to the films themselves, this set also includes a digital copy of each film, so you can take the web-slinging action with you wherever you go. And with the bonus features, including commentary tracks, behind-the-scenes featurettes, and more, you can delve even deeper into the world of Spider-Man. Overall, if you're a Spider-Man fan, or just a fan of great superhero movies in general, this set is an absolute must-have. The 4K visuals alone are worth the price of admission, but the excellent storytelling and memorable characters make this trilogy a true classic. So swing into action and pick up this set today!

Para mí, la mejor trilogía que puede existir de Spider-Man.

For the lovers of the original trilogy.
The quality of the Blu-ray and 4K movies is really good. You will get all the extras (except the origins of villains from the Spider-Man Special Edition on DVD). You get all the movies and all their different versions (Spider-Man 2.1 and Spider-Man 3: Editor's Edition). My only downside is that the "book set" was glued bad. The cover looks way too off and when I opened the "book" the first pics isn't straight. You'll expect a better job for such an "expensive" set. Edit: I was watching the first movie (4K) and these weird pixels came out from nowhere. I cleaned the disc and now it was working fine, but I'll watch the other movies from beginning to end to see if this comes out again. I only watched parts of them before writing this review, so I'll pay more attention this time.

Amazing stuff. Region free discs. Contains both bluray and 4k, 6 discs in total. Spider-Man 2 was my first ever VCD, and to me it possibly the greatest superhero movie ever made. So glad to have this copy.
