I have bought four of these DVD’s at different times. To give to my special people. I would consider this the all time favorite of the Christmas Spirit. I never get tired of watching it. It really touches your heart.

I collect movie versions of Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol". This particular one is the earliest one I have. It's wonderful viewing.

Firstly this Blu-Ray will play within the UK. Have loved this version for many years of the classic tale and for me it beats the 1951 version no end. The BR quality is as good as it can be on this vintage film and sheer joy to have in HD, good picture and sound. The standard extras are regular quality only so note that. A very welcome release on BR disc and proudly sits in the Christmas collection.
