Exactly what I was looking for.
As someone who has a flip cover case for my Switch Lite, this was exactly what I was looking for - grip bumps to the Switch for better ergonomics and the thinnest case possible. The quality feels good. Feels solid and the magnet is strong enough that it won't just fall off. I've read some of the cons from other reviews like the cover not closing completely flush if you have any caps. That's true. I have caps on mine but I personally don't have a problem with it. It still closes fine thanks to the latch on the front, but it does leave a very small gap on the sides. This case isn't meant to be air tight and still protects it just fine. All in all, if you've used these kinds of cases on other handhelds and liked them, this one won't disappoint.

Great for casual use
This is a great case for the casual user, once you manage your expectations. No, the flip cover doesn't stay on easily when you're playing, but why would you need it to. Pop it off and set it to the side. Several reviews mention that the flip cover doesn't stay closed, these are probably the same people who don't like to take it off. When you put it on, start with the catch on then push up and wrap the top until the magnets catch. This doesn't offer military grade impact protection, but it doesn't claim to. It looks good and keeps the screen and joysticks protected when closed.

It's convenient storage
The pros of this protector is that helps make the Switch OLED a more "pocket sized" handheld (for cargo pockets, really). It's really sturdy and slimmer than the typically Switch Case. Because of that, it's really easy to just pull it out of my pocket, flip it open, play it inside the case for a bit, then close it back up and put it away without having to juggle a separate case. I am a bit torn about the "ergonomic" grips on the back of the case because they add some unnecessary bulk, but also make it easier for me to hold and play the Switch. I wouldn't recommend throwing this thing in a backpack loosely, though. The flip-top of the case doesn't snap shut very well and it's held on the back with a magnet, which I can see falling off of the case if it's a bag that's being handled roughly. This case is not compatible with the dock, and removing the switch from the case takes some practice since the case is pretty tight. That's a good thing if you want the Switch to stay in the case. It's a bit of a hassle when taking the Switch out, though. Otherwise, it's a nice case and I'm happy with the purchase.

Made me start using my switch again
This is a great little case, firm and sturdy and the top is detachable which I love because it makes it easier to use without the back flopping back and forth. The switch is no longer dockable with the case on but that is fine as I only use my OLED in portable mode I have an original switch that I keep in the dock and alternate between so that doesn't bother me at all HOWEVER if you have only one switch that is a factor you might want to consider. All in all the case is great for storage and travel making is a lot easier to store then just pick up and use whenever you want. You've probably seen from other reviews the lid doesn't completely lock down, it's fine for me, mine doesn't move around that much and I've had no real issues with it slipping but again something you might want to consider before purchase.

Amazing Folio Case with 1 Slight Drawback
This feels like a very high quality product especially for the price. The grips on the rear of the case are textured to make it easier to hold your switch. The flap is magnetic and can be detached for easier gaming. I would say the one drawback for me is that the flaps magnets are not super strong so it can fall off when you are gaming but I usually keep a finger on it and it doesn’t come off from there. The flap cover will not fall of when closed from my use. The switch is not dockable with the case on, so you will have to take it off but it’s easy to take on and off.

Great Idea - Poor Execution
While I LOVE the idea of having a skinny steam-lined case for the Switch this product feels like the creators quit in the design right before it could have been amazing... - PROS: Nice streamlined design that allows for some confidence in keeping Switch out and not worrying as much about something bumping into it, etc. | Love the idea of the removable screen case | Great that you can play the Switch while in the case - CONS: Magnet on the screen case NOT strong enough to give confidence that you could throw this into a bag and it would not fall of and allow the screen to get scratched (falls off if you flip it open too fast - not enough magnetic pull) | When the lid is on it does not latch or properly fit over the screen without open seams and spaces - this means that the case will allow all kinds of dust, grime, fuzz, etc. into the system if thrown in a bag, left out, etc. | Case will not allow the system to be docked (why if they took the time to create a case with access to all other ports would you not allow it dock?) | Case does not have a capability to cover triggers/shoulder buttons...again this will allow your buttons to break, etc. if put into a bag for travel, etc. | Case does not allow the use of the stand or offer a replacement. Summary - I will use this around the house to ensure no-one accidently rests items on the system, etc. but I WOULD 100% NOT recommend this case as there has to be something better out there.

Perfect slim case.
This is the perfect slim case for grab and go gaming. This is the second flip case I have purchased, the first was for my switch lite and it could not be easier to install. The fit is snug and seamless. I play in bed and I love that I can simply shut the case and set it to the side. Easy peasie!

The case is pretty sturdy but undockable and way too snug for a one piece case for a 3 piece device. Will break the joycons mine are already way looser after 2 removals. I'm returning this sadly. The magnetic cover is pretty weak too

The case is well built, it is made of a material that is both sturdy and offers a comfortable grip. The front cover is held by a magnet which means that you can take it off whenever you want to play in handheld mode. Precise cut-outs for the buttons as well and it comes with screen protectors! Pros: - Quality materials - Removable front plate - Access to buttons and charging port - Screen protectors included Cons: - Not dockable

Nice case

As another commenter said, this case is surprisingly heavy (even with the warning, it was still heavier than I expected). For this reason alone, I wouldn't consider this a kid friendly case, or disability friendly if you suffer from a weak grip. I don't think the handgrips will help much for larger hands (I'm a woman with large hands - which are the equivalent to a man with small hands - and while they do help, they aren't as helpful as I was hoping for). As you can see from the photos provided by the seller, you cannot access the stand without removing the case. You also need to remove the case if you want to remove the joycons. All of the vents and buttons, etc, are accessible, however I think that some people will have trouble using the earphone jack if the their plug is bulky. I just realised that the top vent while unblocked and fine during gameplay, will be blocked when the cover is closed, so it could potentially lead to overheating if you immediately close the cover after a long session of gameplayplay. I don't use game cards, however I think you shouldn't have too much trouble inserting and removing them, unless you have really large fingers. It is very comfortable clicking on the L and R buttons, but it does take a bit of getting used to as the front of the case gets in the way a bit (you just have to learn to position your finger a bit further backwards (I just realised that this might be an issue for smaller hands, so take that into consideration). The magnetic clip is sturdy, however where it clips closed near the charging port doesn't hold shut very well, so I don't think it will protect the switch's screen much if you drop it. If you want that kind of protection, you're probably going to need to use a rubber band to keep it shut. With it shut though, I think it will protect it really well! I haven't received my thumb grips yet, but so long as they are round (no decorative shapes), I think they should fit with the cover closed. The screen protectors are glass, and they aren't the best type I've ever used, but they are better than nothing and do the job. I was planning on getting better quality ones anyway, but I'm using these ones until they arrive. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase, my only real concerns are that I need to remember to not shut the cover ASAP after extended gameplay, make sure I use an rubber band to keep my cover shut when it's not in use (as I'm clumsy AF), and see how I deal with the weight during extended gameplay sessions. I currently have a VERY SLOW healing wrist injury, and I can see this case causing a lot of extra strain, so I'm going to have to be careful with how I hold it and limit myself to short gameplay sessions. Aside from all of that, I think this is a great case, and recommend it to anyone who thinks it will suit their needs!
