This was recommended by Penn Skincare - love her advice for effective, natural, low cost products. Love that this is cruelty-free, non-petroleum based. Tingles when applied, so I'm starting with just 2x per week. Seems to play well with my sensitive skin. Consistency is quite runny and it soaks in quickly. Imagine this bottle will last quite a long time.

It has now been several years of purchasing this item. I used to LOVE it. And it does still "work." It keeps my breakouts at bay now that I'm pregnant and can't use retinol anymore. But I hate it now - they've completely changed the formula. It used to be a really nice serum that was almost as thick as a gel. Now it is this watery mess that constantly leaks from the package and forms crystals. I'm still using it because I have not replaced it yet - but I'm constantly scraping the crystals off my face. Cleaning up ANY surface the bottle is on because it's constantly leaking. At first, I thought I just got one bad package - but nope all of them have been that way for the last year. Do not recommend any more. Hopefully they'll fix it and I'll be able to start purchasing it again. OG COMMENT: I first got this serum when I was looking for a product that had all of the skin "whitening" ingredients rolled up into one. This one pretty much does and it is a great serum that really works. It has faded out a good deal of my freckles on my arms that are caused by sun exposure (i develop freckles with sun exposure). I am very pale with dark hair. Not only does this serum work with consistent, daily usage, it absorbs into my skin SOOO quickly and feels really nice. Its not sticky or thick but it is not so thin that it runs all over the place the second you pump it out. I do like the pump as well and the fact that it comes with a lid. I put it all over my arms and face daily (i also put it on my underarms once or twice week) and it lasts me like 3 months. I wash my face. Put on a calming toner (i specifically use single ingredient tones like mugwort, centella ect). Then I apply my adapeline retinol and follow it up with this serum. After this serum I will apply some ginseng product or other hydrating/calming serum followed with my moisturizer. Either a calming/healing one or my snail mucin & peptide eye cream from cosrx (yes i use it all over my face). If i need a more heavy duty cream i use my ceramedx. This routine plus twice weekly face masks from numbizin has given me the best looking skin i have ever.

This serum is packed with a lot of recommended actives for brightening! (It basically has it all, except for Retinol and Hydroquinone—for which you need a prescription). I’ve been using it for a month (at night unless I’m exfoliating) and I’ve seen a noticeable difference to a few dark spots (leftover Melasma. I needed something to use b/c I’be basically used as much hydroquinone as I safely can). On top of which, my skin looks brighter in general. I only have to do an exfoliating treatment once a week with Glycolic Acid when I use this. Other serums that contain these actives are usually 60 dollars or more, this is a good bang for the buck. It seems like the bottle will last 2-3 months, at least. Gentle enough to use on décolletage area, too.

I appreciate products like this 7 in 1 serum because I can get the same results using less individual products. This has a squeeze dropper so you can extract just the right amount. The ingredients are excellent for your face, and it is fragrance free. Recommended!
