It is lovely, sturdy and functional. I love that it has an on/off safety dial on the back of the burner, which keeps children from being able to turn the front dials on.

Temp settings and on and off switches are hard to see.
The on switch is in the back not visible. The control switches are in front but hard to read in lower light.

Good in a Pinch
This hot plate is a bit difficult to use since it's quite slow to adjust the heat. It takes quite awhile to get hot enough to be effective. Then once it's hot, the temperature is slow to adjust. It's made well, but the burners are difficult to get clean.

Will it Work and Stay working.
I purchased this product and was excited to have it come in. It was a very good-looking unit sitting on the cabinet. But wow the unit did not heat or come on at all. I did not know what the deal was. I have purchased one before from another company. That one lasted for two weeks and stop heating. I threw it away. This one I will return .
