A family member recommended the "methyl" formulation of folate and B12 to me as a means to see more results primarily from B vitamins which have never really helped me - in fact my reaction to B vitamins distributed in large quantity to help with energy have the opposite reaction for me. These are better, but I'm going to go out and give them 4 stars for the very small pills and the fact that the difference, for me, from other formulations is not as noticeable as I'd hoped - but they seem well made and yes, I do feel a slightly more constant mood and energy as a result - not amazing - but noticeable after taking for a week or more.

I bought these hoping to improve fatigue and help with depression symptoms. I did not really notice any difference in how I felt after using them for a month.

This raised my liver enzymes tremendously. Stopped taking them.

I have been liking this brand of methlyfolate with the addition of B12. Previously, I was taking another methylfolate for a number of years, for nervous system and mood support, as well as a separate methylcobalamin supplement as well, after I developed long covid a couple of years ago. I appreciate being able to get both of them in one supplement. This is still a pricier supplement than getting both of those supplements separately was, for me, but for people who don't like to take a lot of supplements, it might be beneficial to get both things in one supplement.

We’ve been taking methylfolate and methylcobalamin separately. If you have the MTHFR mutation, you should end up taking 15 mg per day - the same dose as Deplin minus all the artificial colors and other garbage ingredients. However, this capsule has 7.5 mg of methylfolate, so if your goal is to take 15 mg, then you’ll need to take two of these. My daughter’s doctor kept pushing Deplin, despite her food allergies. A folate deficiency affects mood, anxiety, and more. Very glad to find a methylfolate this pure. My daughter and I have the MTHFR mutation, plus celiac and food allergies. Our ingredient limitations mean it can be hard to find supplements. Very happy to find this one. I'm going to research to see if they also have it in the 15 mg size.
