The timer housings are made of ABS plastic and include a rope/hook mount, a kickstand, and a magnet affixed to the back. The 6-pack includes blue, purple, orange, green, pink, and white timers. The upgraded version feature a loud/silent switch that adds to this timers versatility. Product Con’s: The magnet does not have a very strong hold. On slick surfaces, the weight of the timer may cause it to slide down or fall off of the magnetic hold. Product Pro’s: Excellent price, currently at 2 dollars and 82 cents per timer in the 6-pack. Large LCD display and the flashing five pointed star light can be seen from afar. They have survived repeated drops and have proven to be very durable.

LOVE LOVE LOVE these in my SPED classroom. I will say if they get thrown (welcome to sped), they do lose some functions. But I primarily have only bought more of these from losing the originals while moving classrooms. These timers are a great visual for students and have quiet alert options vs. the loud alarm option. So simple to use that my k-2 kids set them up.

Great for classroom

These have magnetic backings, so I put them on my fridge. Unfortunately, they are not very stable, so about 10% of the time when I try to use one of them it falls on the floor. The back just isn't as flat as some other timers, so when you press a button, sometimes the whole thing rocks to one side enough that the magnet comes off and it clatters to the ground. Or maybe I am just bad at pressing buttons. Who can say? It never happened with other timers I've owned though. I find these a bit less reliable than other timers - one time, one of them beeped ONCE when the time went to zero, then somehow cancelled itself and stopped beeping. I would have easily missed the one beep if I was not standing in front of it, which could have let me burn what I was cooking. These also lack the function other timers have where they will count up once they have reached the end, which admittedly probably most people don't use. That said, getting six timers for this price is pretty good. If you need 6 decent timers, get this! If you need only a couple timers, but want them to be more convenient and reliable, get one of the alternatives that has 2 timers in one.

great product for my appointments

Perfect timers for my classroom. I have my students use them to do reading fluency drills with a partner. They are easy to use and come in cute colors.

For the amount of money spent on these, I really shouldn't complain. They are simple to use, they have a magnet on them which is super handy but two of them didn't work. On two of them, the back plastic piece that slides on and off for the battery, was stuck on there. And I mean stuck. I took an exacto and tried cutting it out and finally got them pried open with a flat head screw driver. I ruined one of them in the process. It didn't light up or turn on after adding a battery, and another random one also didn't turn on. Overall, for the amount of money I spent, I'm not that upset. But trying to pry open the battery cover for 10 or so minutes is a pretty frustrating task.

Work excellent. Much better price than some other brands. Needs batteries though.

The product works fine and suits the purpose, however I bought these particular ones as they were advertised as having a loud/silent switch (classroom teacher and needed the silent switch) and they only have the one switch - on and off with no option for silent. Disappointed and probably would not have bought these particular ones. There is no issue with the quality or function of the product - just wanted the silent option.
