Better than a band aide.
This worked better than expected. I sliced my index finger quite deeply with a box knife. Once bleeding stopped I used this on the wound. No pain at all from it. Product held well, I used a heavy amount initially. It tended to wear off after 2-3 days and required additional glue. Being a finger it was used a lot so this would be expected. This worked better than band aides for sure.

Safe, easy to use, work perfectly!
Haven't used THIS batch but have used these before. They seem (to me at least) not to "sting" as badly as other brands and still work. Carry them in my kit wherever I go! Yes, we used to use quick glue but these are just as easy to carry, just as easy to use, and much safer!

Excellent for use on hand wounds!
I purchased this 12-pack of Liquid Skin after buying a package at The Dollar Tree and trying it out. I have issues with cracked skin on my fingers, especially after I've been cleaning and using harsh chemicals. Not only are these cracks extremely painful, but they usually take weeks to heal due to the fact that they are on my hands and I am washing them frequently throughout the day, thus impeding the healing. I developed a crack on my finger just after buying this product and had the chance to try it out right away. I applied the Liquid Skin to my freshly washed and dried crack. It did sting a bit, but that subsided pretty quickly. The liquid smells a lot like super glue, but it didn't dry as quickly and has a little bit of what I'd describe as an oily film to it. The first application didn't take very well, it broke open fairly easily. I wasn't ready to give up though, I went back and applied two more coats of the Liquid Bandage, allowing them to dry completely between application, and that seemed to do the trick. I was left with a waterproof barrier to my wound that lasted until it healed. Because the wound was protected, the healing process was dramatically speeded up compared to normal- about a week, compared to several weeks. I also noticed another skin crack beginning to form and I applied Liquid Skin as a preventive measure and it totally worked to stop the crack from going any deeper into the tissue. My child scratched the palm of her hand the same week and the wound started turning a little red due to the difficulty of keeping a child's hand wound clean. I cleaned and dried her wound, applied several coats of the Liquid Skin, and the wound was then able to heal with the redness subsiding. All of the to say that based on my experience the product is great for wounds that are difficult to keep a traditional bandage on. The only trick to using it to make sure to use several coats in order to ensure a long lasting bandage.

Difficult to open the package
My husband is a BIG-TIME bleeder. I carry four different cases with every coagulant, antiseptic, and bandage I can find. A tap to a wall will make him bleed profusely, and the wound lasts a long time. Different products work better for different kinds and sizes of wounds. I just tried this product - and it is absolutely AMAZING. Seals the wound and wears off, so it's not a challenge to remove it and clean the wound. So what's the problem? It is a huge challenge to get this out of the tube. I am honestly thinking of carrying a pair of pliers to squeeze the tube hard enough to get the gel out. Very frustrating, because otherwise, this is a true gift. Please, Medique - can you make it easier to get this gel out of the tube???

Garbage
Garbage. I bought 20 vials,to keep in my first aid kit. Cut my hand and went for it, and every single vial was empty. EVERY SINGLE ONE. Junk and they know it. It expires fast, and they do not care. They keep selling empty vials to keep thier profits rolling in. Hospitals and factories get the newest stuff, and they unload the expired or nearly expired junk on regular people, amazon for example. When it works it works, but the company knows it expires fast, and has to make up for the lost profits somehow. Straight up garbage. A gamble, you may get some in a tube you may not. In an emergency that is 100 percent unacceptable. And yes the vials are difficult to open especially with a cut and blood all over your hand. Do not get it, its garbage sold by garbage. Wish i could give zero stars.

Dependable
My wife uses these a lot they help with shallow and deep cuts. Stays on once dry through showers and hand washes as long as you don’t scrub too hard

A winter necessity.
Great help in winter when the skin on your hands gets small cracks (that never heal) from constant hand washing. This stuff lets your skin heal by creating a barrier. It does not pull your skin or feel like a hard blob - it feels totally natural. The only thing is if you are using your finger to log in, the phone or computer may not "read" it. I first learned about it while working at a hospital. It is used for wound care. This particular "liquid skin" is also much more affordable than the other brand that I've been using.

the only issue lies in the packaging inconsistencies.
Strong glue, hard to use, Dry tubes, broken packaging, Great for tight moments.

This stuff works great. I used to use crazy glue but the applicator on these glue sticks is much easier to use and it doesn’t sting at all. I had a blister that broke and used it to glue the skin down so it wouldn’t tear off. Sealed it great. It isn’t very flexible so it does crack if you put it on a crease.

I live in Canada. In winter we get temperatures that are regularly -10C to -30C which is accompanied by low humidity. As a result, lots of cracks in my hands due to eczema and low humidity. The best product I ever used was the 2 part Band-Aid skin crack gel but it hasn't been available for decades. This stuff is close though. At the worst time of year, I will probably have 20 small cracks on my hands. I can use one tube to cover the cracks. I have also been able to reseal the tube after opening by placing the white cap back on and then scotch taping it in place. This seems to work for at least a day or so. I find this material lasts 2 to 3 days before it wears off - and that is in these times where hand washing is very frequent. Also, I use DermaKalm and CeraVe skin creams after the Liquid Skin has dried and they do not seem to cause any issue - the Liquid Skin still lasts a few days. drying time is certainly several minutes. Overall a very good product. Only rated a 4 since I am holding out hope of a product like the Old Bandaid Skin Crack Gell and that would be a 5.

This liquid bandage is good because, once dry, it will stay put. It will not curl under hot water or multiple washings. The texture isn't smooth, and dries to conform to skin texture, and is harder to scrub off.
