I can use it for anything! I have been using clay toothpastes for years, and have mostly purchased them from nice companies (simply sooney is my fave) but I thought why not try on my own… I bought bentonite first, a very powerful clay, which works really well to balance oily skin, but for non oily folks like me it’s way too strong by itself. Then I got the kaolin clay! (By the way this is named for a province in china named Kao Lin.) Best odor remover (yes remover) for pits ever. Threw out my deodorants. Also prevents odor (but not sweat) in the armpits 😷, no matter what!!! It’s mixed with some water for that to form a light paste. If you have oily skin, a light brushing of dry powder gets rid of shine all day (I have test subjects!). Also, it really stops chafing if you’re like everyone else and your thighs rub. This is a pure and non-reactive substance, you may use it on intimate parts if you’re a sweaty person. Nice for a mask, much gentler. Brush lightly on lashes after mascara, no more raccoon eyes. This clay is so beyond DIY that even if you don’t make other products with it, buy it!! Reputable company, no contaminants, oh, and it takes away bad breath and morning breath with a 10 second gentle brushing. You need a sprinkle to do the job on your mouth, and one swipe and rub in the pits is all you need instead of deodorant. I will say that this is very fluffy, and it’s not good to breathe in clay, so take care. I like to put a few drops (as in 5) of peppermint for both pits and teeth. Who ever thought of minty fresh pits! You can mix this with bentonite clay for more absorption, but try a 25% bentonite and a 75% kaolin. This will last you the rest of your life, also. Guess it depends on how old you are… it lasts a very long time. Oh, and it makes the best paste hair products (you can mix it an oily base like cocoa butter or shea butter). I think I might be a fan. My husband has mixed this with sand and cocoa butter for a hair product, but he’s very odd.

Tried to capture a decent image, to demonstrate the initial blending/adding, following w the flawless blending & consistency. I blended 1st one w Apple cider vinegar (including Mother). Blending was seamlessly simple, using ceramic bowl & wooden spoon. I don't have the great skin that I used to. I'm 56, work outdoors, offlake in Virginia. I constantly have wind, rain, sun, dirt, pollen, you name it, cloaking my poor skin. I used a mix of Bare Essentials Living White Kaolin Clay Powder, w apple cider vinegar. This product is impressively clean, untainted & well packaged. They even give you a durable quality zip bag to store product in, along w a hard card copy of business info, along w tips on using. They were definitely right about using sparingly. A little most definitely a long way. Left thinly applied mask on face/chest for 15 minutes. Mask was easy to apply. Clings well, no dripping, w even drying. I rinsed off w warm water, followed by cool rinse & blotted w extra virgin olive oil. This stuff is way more effective than I expected! Left my face feeling so clean, clear of all the contaminants I get so often thru work & play. Face is noticeably more taught, w less visible lines, feeling & looking more radiant. I'm impressed!!! I ordered this for my teenage son as well. His complexion is beginning to show signs of a typical teen in high school. I applied same mix for my son, as fir myself. He wasn't easy to convince, but conceded to trying. ....WOW!! It was like night & day w him, clearing up blackheads around nose/cheek area, as well as literally shrinking into near nothingness, any areas lurking to create embarrassing blemishes. I'm sold, my teenage son is sold. Stuff is amazing and I'll most definitely be returning for more of this and other products from this seller. Rare to have things go so well. I use natural products as much as possible, so mixed this Kaolin Clay Powder with some Greek yogurt, honey and turmeric for a homemade face mask. Skin felt refreshed and glowing after 10 minutes, and no redness. Excellent packaging, double bagged, and it seems they stand by their products. Give it a try!

Serves it's purpose and company was quick to ship. Color and texture are as should be very fine and fluffy. I haven't made masks yet I have used for teeth. Great value and quality in my book

Good value for the money. Works as a nice mask. Or you can make bath bombs out of it. You can also use it as a dusting on your roses to keep bugs off.

I originally purchased White Kaolin Clay Powder for hair masks. I had read that the masks used once a week or even once every two weeks would help remove residual products from my hair leaving it shiny with a thicker feeling texture. It worked well and I really like the cleaner, thicker look. After seeing the results with my hair, I decided to read more about the clay’s benefits. After a small amount of research, I found articles about clay masks for skin. I decided to give one a try. I mixed the clay into a thick paste and applied it to my face. I set a timer for 7 minutes. I chose 7 minutes as I didn’t want to dry out my skin, the recommendation that I had read said 10 minutes but I tend to be cautious. After the 7 minutes, I rinsed off the clay. The difference in my skin was amazing. My skin was softened, clear and had an amazing texture/glow that wasn’t present before. The noticeable effects lasted several days. I am a 69 year old woman and I really wish I had known about this product when I was younger. Since the first application, I have done one more mask and it appears the effects may be cumulative but I really need several more applications before I can say that with confidence. I think it is important to use as a face mask once a week (or before a special occasion) due to the of risk drying out natural oils. I also plan to keep the time at 7 minutes for the same reason. I highly recommend trying this clay for both your hair and skin. The price point is good, especially considering the costs of skin/hair care products these days. Trust me, take care of your skin starting early. My aunt told me this years ago (her skin looked good until she passed at 96 years old) and it was absolutely one of the best pieces of advice that I have received.
