Pure down, no feathers as described. I used it to boost a backpacking quilt. 4 oz added about an inch of loft. As nice or nicer than the 800fp down already in there. I’d buy this again. Funny that people give bad reviews because they didn't buy enough. You literally purchased it by weight. I got exactly 4 oz. It was perfect. The negative reviews for it being messy are also pretty ridiculous. Do your homework. This is good “stuff.”

My husband wanted a replacement down pillow. I got two bags of this and it was perfect. It was a little messy emptying the bag it came in into the pillow liner so the second one I just opened up and let it fluff out and into the first one. Easy. He's had it two years and still fluffy and comfortable.

I got this bag of feathers to save my favorite pillow - mission success. A huge amount of awesome and soft down feathers. Added them to my pillow and now my neck is happy - no more waking up with a crooked neck and having to deal with that all day. Side note - I added a zipper (unless your pillow has one already) so I can have access to the feathers in case I have to add or take some away in the future. Great feathers - highly recommend!

Very soft feathers but very difficult to stuff into whatever medium of your choosing. Perhaps instructions on how to handle ( without flying all over you house) would help.

There was really not any product to stuff a fraction of a pillow. Not worth the money!! Misleading marketing! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME or money.

Very pleased with the quality of the down (no feathers), its packaging in down proof fabric, and the rapid service provided. Used to revitalize a down vest. Next will be a favorite sleeping bag. Select a day when air motion is minimal (avoid blowing furnace, heavy breathing in down's direction, etc. I waited until I was alone in the house. Have down supply firmly placed in a container so it will remain upright. Support the item to be filled so it remains steady while being filled (I taped the vest to a chair back with the opening on top). Made opening only large enough to fit homemade cardboard funnel. Taped funnel to vest opening. Had cardboard box beneath filling site to contain spilled down for later use. Have at hand a long smooth item to push down into the item beyond the funnel's opening. Just used this to stuff my sleeping bag. So far the product seems of great quality for the price! Very happy with the purchase. Comes in a pillow case type bag with a slit maybe 8 inches wide on the top. Packaged very well. Decent amount of down. Probably enough for a smaller throw pillow, but that's not what I used it for.

I hunted for a replacement down travel pillow to no avail. Finally thought of just restuffing the old one and found this. It arrived in a downproof cotton bag and was clean, white, super lofty and had no odor. It's great. However, it IS down and rather than dealing with transferring it from the cover to my pillow, I just sewed the end closed and use it with my original little pillow. The amount is perfect for what I wanted. However, for a full regular size down pillow, I think the amount of down needed would be at least three or four times as much.
