By far the best protein powder I’ve ever tasted with healthy ingredients and doesn’t have aspartame or artificial sweeteners. My only issue is with them switching to the bag instead of the plastic container. You can’t recycle the bag and it’s very messy and you lose some powder, please bring back the plastic container!

I mix this with Fair Life (lactose free) chocolate milk and it is good. I tried it with water but that didn't work for me. I like the taste better with milk. It would probably be good with oat milk or almond milk, too. I drink one shake a day for lunch as a meal replacement. I recommend to anyone looking for a good meal replacement shake that will keep you satisfied for several hours. Update: After using this as a meal replacement and following a gluten free diet, I have lost weight and my labs at the doctor's office have improved. My bad cholesterol is lower and for the first time ever, my good cholesterol has improved. My inflammation is down and I've had fewer "pain days." I plan to continue this daily routine into 2025 and hope to lose even more weight. Editing to add that while I love the chocolate flavor, I recently tried the berry flavor and did not like it at all. It has a terrible after taste that I don’t notice with the chocolate. I will stay with the chocolate flavor.

Happy Viking is my favorite protein powder that I've tried. It delivers 30 grams of protein a serving, plus a wonderful lineup of additional nutrients included that are all plant based and improved eco-friendly packaging -- all things I appreciate and look for. Equally important though, it actually tastes good! Unlike many other protein powders it has no bad aftertaste and is just as good blended up only with water and ice as it is mixed with other ingredients like milk and fruits for a smoothie or used in protein balls or baking. Chocolate is my current favorite flavor, but I also like vanilla for mixing into other things if I want a more neutral flavor involved, and I'm hoping they bring back the cookies and cream flavor soon as that is my actual #1 (the variety pack is a good way to try multiple flavors at once too). The only reason I am giving this product 4 out of 5 stars is the price. While ultimately still worth it to me for the great taste and what it provides, I really wish it was more affordable as I do tend to go through it pretty fast with how frequently I use it these days. But that's the only thing that will cause me to continue to try other protein powders. Because this one is tops!

I LOVE this protein powder. Excellent taste, doesn’t upset my stomach. I’ve been having it every weekday for a couple years. I usually use one scoop and add it to a smoothie. But I couldn’t help but notice that with the new packaging from canister to large pouch that the size of the included scoop also drastically increased but the directions to use two scoops for the listed nutrition facts did not. The new scoop is the same diameter but twice the height. I was hoping the company could answer.

So far I like the product. I like that there's a scoop and I can split and drink the shake twice a day.

I did not like the aftertaste of this product. Mixing with milk helps, but I won’t purchase it again.

Overall, this protein powder is great. I have a few likes and dislikes. Likes: I love the added superfoods, minerals, probiotics, and fruits/veggies. It also tastes great and is very smooth. Dislikes: There’s a few added ingredients like gums and sweeteners that I’m not a fan of for gut health. The macros could also be a little better in my opinion. I do really really like it for the most part though! It isn’t gritty and has a wonderful flavor which is a big win for a protein powder.

The new packaging is terrible. Not a single bag has actually resealed and I had to transfer it all to a Ziploc bag. In addition, the powder sticks to the sides of the bag so when you have to reach your arm in the bag to scoop out the powder, you get covered in it. That didn’t happen in the plastic container. The bag has 33oz and the plastic container had 24oz but the new scoop in the bag is twice the size as the scoop that was in the plastic canisters.

It tastes incredibly delicious and dissolves effortlessly, with tons of superfoods and nutrients on top of the protein. I have tried at least three other chocolate protein powders, and Happy Viking is by far the tastiest and the one with the most nutrients. I hope that the seller offers it on a subscription option to get a regular discount.
