The Nutritional Analysis label states *MAY CONTAIN TRACES OF NUTS*. But only coconuts, flour, butter, sugar and real vanilla are used in this particular brand, as clearly stated on the Ingredients List on the same label. There is NO nut oil used in these cookies. Over the years, I've noticed just 2 of the 5 cookie types have tiny, flavorful coconut flakes in them, and are mostly for texture. Notably, a friend who has a peanut allergy and many food allergies, poor guy has never had a nut allergy reaction to these. The real problem with cookies is many corporate bakers use peanut oil as part of their recipe to cut costs. Not these classics, which seem to stay 100% true to the old skool recipe.
