I was using the original wig grip band for awhile. It’s works well but not quite perfect for me. This is a game changer, super soft and breathable it blends under wig and has lace front. It’s hugs my head comfortably and holds my wig in place, surprisingly I don’t overheat (that was my concern) by far the best wig accessorie I’ve found. It’s sturdy and a great value for the price.

This is amazing like I was very skeptical . My wig always tend to slip when I’m at work bc I’m wearing a hat and I’m dealing with heat so all the heat and humidity just make my wig slip so then I’m running to the bathroom making sure it’s fine before any one see. This right here works the first night I was checking it during the day and it stayed all night I pulled my hat off and it still looked great . I don’t have to fix it or add more melting spray or tighten it like this and the band are miracle workers it’s worth the money !!!!!! Trust me it stays on ALL DAY

I am honestly blown away by how well this held my wig on! I constructed a super heavy Rumi wig for cosplay, and I had no idea how I was going to get it to stay on without painfully pinning it to my head. I got this wig cap, put it on underneath, and it just fit on over and stayed amazingly snug all day. My cosplay wig did not have a lace front, so I didn't apply any glue at all, and still it held perfectly tight all day with no complications or slipping!! Crazy awesome!! I mean it when I say that wig was HEAVY - it was built from 2 full 50 inch wigs - and yet this wig cap held it on no problem at all. Amazing product!!

This wig grip works really well. I literally don't have to do anything else but plop my wig on my head. It doesn't move at all. I'm a waitress and I'm constantly running around, bending over, moving, etc. Everything stays where it's supposed to. There are 2 things that would make this grip better. #1- I had to cut some of the fabric around the ear because it was scrunched up against my ear. The fabric is kind of delicate, so I have a feeling this will affect the longevity and the overall support and structure of the cap. #2- why would they put that huge white label on the outside of the cap? If you are wearing a dark colored wig, you could probably see it through the hair line because it's right by the ear. All my wigs are blonde, so I'm not too worried about it, but I do plan on getting a dark colored wig soon. I'll do an update when I get that! I do appreciate how nicely it holds my bio hair in place under the cap, and it's very lightweight, so I don't feel hot or uncomfortable. I can get ready literally in like ten minutes now. So it's definitely convenient! The lace also blends right in. Overall, I do recommend it!

A $30 wig cap is an investment. One that should serve you and live up to the product claims. I write this so you continue to do research and spare you my experience. To be fair, when I contacted the company, the reply was lightning fast and the tone was pleasant. However my first and likely last experience with Milano was like talking to a brick wall. Before purchase, I watched every review known to man on this cap and educated myself on what it actually does so I could manage my expectations. You do this when purchasing anything online. And especially when purchasing pricey items like this wig cap. After the abrupt economic shakeup caused by the pandemic, I thoughtfully gathered those small but meaningful items that boost your confidence as you interview. A wig and, yes, this wig cap was one of those things. I felt hopeful the cap would live up to the description. It did not. To be sure, my head is tiny. But the item I recieved does not look or behave like the product in videos on youtube. The fabric is a stiff, non stretchy construction that will not conform to your head. There's a piece of velcro but, without a stretchy cap, it didn't serve its purpose. It was so difficult to wear, I actually thought I may have received an item designed for a child. No give. It simply slides from the front to the nape of your neck with the slightest tug/adjustment of your wig. 'Yeah… but why are you writing ALL this lady and why should I read on?' I know you're asking. Fair question. This item was a small but important investment for me. You want to look presentable as you reach out to employers during these chaotic times. It's truly rare that I have an issue with items and rarer I leave a review. On those occassions I had during the pandemic, sellers have been so compassionate, worked with me and often offered an immediate refund for an item truly not as described. Well I'm sad to say I was disappointed by the customer service received by Milano. In short, the rep relentlessly drove home that the item had no flaws, directed me to how-to videos-essentially gaslighting me in the process. And the most important takeaway: that I should return the item for my $30 refund. To be fair, pre pandemic, that is exactly a response that a business can give and makes sense. While I believe the company thinks its response was apt and appropriate, it truly fails to realize the pandemic has paralized everyday actions, mainly the one required for returns-leaving the home/coming in contact with essential workers- postal/ups workers. I don't believe Milano makes a habit of making poor customer relation decisions. Though actually reading the critical Amazon reviews left for this cap would reveal a documented defect a responsible company would do well not to gaslight the customer into doubting. And that's what happened to me. What disappoints me about Milano's response (perhaps more than losing $30 a mere week after an economic shakeup) is the callous disregard for my safety. The circumstances surrounding my request for an immediate refund are both rooted in my concern for health risk and the documented reviews the company chose to ignore for this cap. I paid $30 for an item that doesn't perform on my small head, is shrunken/defective, as mentioned by other reviewers. And if I have to risk my life by leaving my home/engaging an overworked, vulnerable essential worker, it certainly wouldn't be to return a wig cap. A message to Milano/company rep: To be sure, $30 really matters when you lose hours/ your job and to consider a refund will not cripple your company. Humility in a company during these dark times matters and means you have a customer for life. Milano, read the room. Granted, there is a time and place to be rigid in policy. But not during a global pandemic when your item does not meet realistic product expectations. Mainly a wig cap that actually stretches. Milano I'm so disappointed in your response. Listen to your customers. Do better.

The pros: -the cap doesn’t slip, it holds my wig in place for hours (longest 12 hr wear) -the velvet is medium thickness and comfortable -the cap part is my favorite because it’s soft durable, protects my hair and comfortable The cons: -the label is uncomfortable and odd. I don’t see the need for such a large label. When tucking behind ears it causes scrunching -the Velcro gets stuck in hair often, so be careful -the lace is hard and itchy and rubs against my hairline which makes it uncomfortable -the lace is slightly falling apart after a couple months Overall opinion: I’d recommend this product if your looking for a quick install because it saves a lot of time. But if your looking for something to wear often maybe find something more comfortable for your edges. Although it’s convenient, I don’t see myself purchasing another one because the lace is uncomfortable and makes my forehead itchy along my hair line. I may just try out and purchase the one with cap and velvet band without lace

This works very well and holds my wig into place I highly recommend this.
